We were on a boat holiday and thankfully found this place. The menu is short but varied and we all enjoyed the food. The menu was explained and they cooked the meat to our preference. The staff are very friendly. We ate dinner twice and lunch once. The view is from the balcony but taken from by the river.

Unfortunately no one speaks even English, staff is nice, but keep a careful eye on the restaurant bill as something might be added by mistake... The rooms look nice and modern but don't go into the bathroom or the toilet..humid, dingy, mold and rust. The poor room ladies are to few for the many rooms and no money is invested to renovate or clean properly. The swimming pool is nice but has a dark band all around it on the rim...around it always wear shoes as there is much earth (dirt) stones and loose tiles. The pool bar has 2 bartenders that just sit around with their mobile phones and friends and even if there are many free tables they hardly get cleaned off the glasses and papers etc the previous guests have left behind.

We had lunch only at this hotel before taking a boat trip along the Lot river. It's lovely to sit outside and admire the scenery. Food and service were very good and reasonably priced. The hotel is in a great location and also has an outdoor pool for residents only.

I have just stayed 2nights at this hotel, we found the staff not very welcoming the food was average, on our second night we waited over an hour between our starter and main course which they completely forgot, the toilet was separate. from the bathroom , the toilet had no hand washing facilety so was not a good thing .but the location was lovely.

To begin with the bad news, for Americans--no AC. But on a mild early Autumn night the supplied table fine was perfectly adequate. And then there's the bell that tolls charmingly at 7:00 AM, a possible drawback if you want to sleep. But everything else was superb. Spectacular location on the river facing the cliffs, encourages long evening over a glass. Mostly good restaurant, especially if you stay with the local specialities--magret or confit de canard, cahors wine, cabecou cheese (pork chop less impressive). Very kind staff. Close to the spectacular Upper Paleolithic cave of Pech Merle. A hair-raising and beautiful road along the cliffs goes to St. Cirq Lapopie, about 5 km away, one of Les Plus Belle Village de France, and quite a sight even if you don't want to join the many visitors. All in all, a great base for exploring Quercy.
