Great breakfast
ChiTownLovinon 03/08/2017 05:55Always happy to stay at Hampton Inn for their great complementary breakfast. Room was fine. Good location. Next to a Walmart for travel purchases. There is a Chili's restaurant within walking distance. Typical Hampton Inn experience. No complaints.
Hampton In Carlsbad, NM is ok
John Ton 03/08/2017 02:04Stayed two nights at the Hampton Inn in Carlsbad, sharing a room with my wife, a daughter and grandson. The room was not great, but adequate. Lighting was poor, but on the plus side there were lots of electrical outlets. The staff was helpful, one volunteering two floaties when my grandson mentioned swimming. The pool was a standard indoor one with hot tub. Both pool and tub had lift chairs for handicapped.
Breakfast was about average for Hampton except the fruit was terrible, somewhat inedible.
I would probably stay gain if in the area.

seanfP9673YEon 27/07/2017 05:56They were great at this facility considering they had several rooms with grave yard occupants from the oil workers. Wonderful staff and such a positive place. I would recommend this place as well worth thr price.

SundanceMountainon 25/07/2017 12:11Nice hotel/staff/free breakfast...but it's right next to railroad tracks, a gas station, and a coin operated car wash/vacuum place. When we arrived there was a man vacuuming his car while loud mariachi music blared from his car speakers. I ran into a police officer who said cars get broken into all the time in the hotel parking lot, so I should not leave anything visible inside! So after driving all day, I had to deal with carrying everything from the car into our room, including a large cooler, bags of dirty clothes, etc. But Carlsbad itself is a an absolute cesspool, a postcard for no city planning, with everything just thrown together like an old mining town. Tip: I would go for the Sleep Inn, as it's on the edge of town as you head toward the Caverns with less "busyness" around it.

Christine Con 23/07/2017 22:20Clean,comfortable. Great location to the Carlsbad Caverns. Breakfast was great. Totally recommend if you are touring the Caverns. The staff is very helpful,beds are super comfortable rooms are very clean.
