Was good going and coming home
SueMC_56on 21/06/2017 19:01Stayed at this property both on our way south and then back north. The rooms were pretty quiet, staff friendly, rooms clean, bed comfortable, breakfast filling. Can't recommend the eggs at breakfast as they were not great. There is a nice lounging chair in the king room. Very close to the interstate so it is convenient to I-95 routes.
Room smelled badly
Q911URmarklon 19/06/2017 10:56The person at the desk was very nice and professional but the room smelled badly, mildewy, and was unacceptable. Unfortunately the hotel was sold out so we had to leave and get a room at a different hotel, a Holiday Inn Express at the next exit. It was much nicer. My wife and I were extremely disappointed in this Hampton Inn experience. BUT, I want to emphasize that the person at the desk was extremely understanding, courteous and professional, there just wasn't anything she could do to help us.

Jane Von 12/06/2017 12:47We always stay, if possible, at a Hilton property. Clean, easy to get to off 95, and very accommodating to us. Staff extremely helpful. Property well kept, breakfasts hot and ready. We were able to get in our room around 1, which was even nicer. Cant say enough good things about the place.

P3892XXheidigon 29/05/2017 15:50I have a feeling this is probably the best of the chain hotels in Darian, but the hallways and rooms are musty. The wall air conditioner is extremely loud but you'll need to keep it cold to combat the smell. The sheets and linens were ok and the bathroom, while old, with poor drainage, wasn't dirty. No visible bugs, but did wake up from a few leg bites. The waterfront in Darien was a nice surprise, but when traveling on I-95 for a rest stop I'll keep on going for a better hotel next time. Check with the hotel for GPS address or you'll wind up in Townsend GA (half hour round trip -not fun after riding all day.) The hotel is survivable without feeling completely gross. Breakfast was typical and fine. Check in staff was very nice.

louisdF5029BSon 22/05/2017 10:39Nice Motel with great staff with good location off I95. Great seafood restaurant close by and Darien is an quaint little city. We stop here every year on our way to Orlando Florida. There is nothing else in Darrien GA other than a couple of restaurants and gas stations.
