Best on Bonaire

This is a truly special property on Bonaire! The tasteful two story traditional buildings coupled with the exquisite gardens and the best beach on the island make this a 5 star property. There's 24 hour security and the villas are spacious, updated and always clean. We stayed in a premium suite which was large and comfortable. The beach is only accessible through the resort so it's very private. My wife felt extremely safe during the day lounging at the beach while my son and I went scuba diving around the island. The staff are extremely kind and accommodating and the management did their upmost to fill every request. . I really liked the the fact that housekeeping services the room twice per day and always made sure there were fresh towels and all amenities replenished. All around a lovely and exquisite resort - one that I'll always remember. As a matter of fact, I've already recommended it to a friend.

Nice Place - Very Quiet

The Harbor Village Beach Club is a really nice place to stay on Bonaire. We arrived late due to Inselair (see my review), but Andreina was waiting for us and made us feel very welcome. Our room, a first floor, one-bedroom suite was massive. The beach was right outside our patio. You could stand there and see parrot fish rolling in the water. We later found that we could snorkel right from the beach and it was pretty good. The beach club is very nice, very comfortable, and unfortunately very quiet. Almost too quiet. While the room was large, so too was the price.

Service, style and great diving!

We just got back few weeks ago from our two weeks' diving trip to Harbour Beach Village Bonaire. It was truly a great experience, where should I start?
Hotel is part of SLH chain so that gives you the standard. You knew what to expect. We got a really nice upgraded suite. People at the reception were so nice. Always helping and asking how your day was. Rooms: very nice large rooms, view to the harbor to look at the sunrise. Tip: tab water is very good!
Hotel was quite empty since it was a low season, so it was really peaceful. We had breakfast at the restaurant every morning and couple of dinners. High quality and very good service - gregory (?) and others. The center of the village is about 2 kilometres - so you need either a car or taxi. But some nice restaurants on the walking distance, eg. Italy in the village, other dive resorts etc.
Main thing for us was diving, we dived everyday, both with a boat and with our rental car, Every single morning our gear and tanks were carried to the front so we just lifted them in the car. Also when did diving from the boat, our gear was always ready. Very new boat, such a lovely people and they took you always where you wished to go, so you didn't need to dive same sites twice. We cannot remember all the names, but Ken, ann-mari, alfonso and xx and xx - thank you for all the great service, it was so much fun! house reef was ok, a lot of fish and a small wreck. Coral in general at Bonaire is in very good shape. Diving center provided you a lot of tips for dive sites from the shore. Very good!
In general we were very happy. If you don't want to have anything elso but dive, maybe you want to stay in those diving factories next door, but if you want to enjoy the unique service, where everyone remembers your name, relax on the beach after your morning dives, this is it. In a case going again to Bonaire, one day, this is our hotel for sure. And Great Adventures dive center, the best.
Note that this is the only sandy beach they have at Bonaire.

Tonight I had one of the best desserts I've tried in my life. Profiteroles with dulce de leche, meringue and ice vanilla cream. WOW #spectacular. The service was excellent, a very nice way to start the week in this paradise island, and, beach club.

Extremely accommodating staff, great room service and beautiful room and furnishings.
Extra amenities and services available.
Views from every room.
Manager present and available to guests.
In my many travel experiences this one has been right at the top!
