Just an Ordinary Experience

We chose to stay at this hotel, amongst other hotels, with the hope to have different experiences. But there was nothing special. I did not find it cozy. The food was also everage. The wifi is soooooo sssslllllllooooowwwwww. You can't even download 1 Mb file.

The plus of this hotel is that it is located near the airport.

It's been almost 5 months since my last review of this property, wow, it has changed tremendously, and it's not good.

First impression:
We are booked and reserved for 3 rooms for 6 nights holiday in Bali for our family of 5, when we arrived at around 6:30pm only 2 of our rooms were ready and prepared. Since we are traveling with infant, we opted to get into the first 2 rooms so the baby can rest. At around 7 PM no news from the front desk, I personally have to came down to the check in counter again to ask about our 3rd room and then the key to the 3rd room was given then.

Second surprise:
Upon entering the 3rd room, we found that the bathroom floor are leaked with water, we believe it was from the toilet since the smells is not too good. Immediately complained and the maintenance crew was dispatched in an appropriate manner, fixed some kind of a leaked pipe follow by the cleaning crew wiped up the floor to clean the wet surface.
For the management: the maintenance crew was good and highly expert in fixing the problem, HOWEVER we don't think it is appropriate for any Hotel especially those with a good reputation as Harris giving a room with this kind of condition to a customer, moreover if the customer check it already late, there were so much time to fix this problem from the time the previous customer check out to that time when we were given the room key. The hotel should already prepared and coordinate the room appropriately matching with all the reservation that was made through the system.

Third surprise:
As we are a morning person, we have left our rooms for our activities around 7am and comeback everyday around 2 PM for our child afternoon nap - Not once the room was ready and re clean by 2 PM. Every time we have to call and complained to the front desk again requesting the cleaning staff to make up for our rooms even tho the 'please clean up room' sign was always hung on the outdoor handles.

Fourth surprise:
No more small towels for the gym for hotel guess. Rp 5000 per tower/per guess/per visit if guess need to borrow the gym's towel.

Fifth surprise:
Bed sheets was 'NeVeR' changed for the entire 6 nights we were staying at this property - this applies to all the rooms.

What happen, has the management of the property changed?

Business Center: Printer was not working, Internet both in the business centers and the wifi is almost 'Unusably' slow

Staff great
Room ok for price location good if you know the Bail area.
Taxi is the best way to get around
Sunset road can be crossed with care
Breakfast is Asian not the best for Australians but in the apartment there's a microwave
Swimming pool is ok and 1.4 meters deep
For us it was good as a family having 2 bedrooms made the stay good

the hotel is very near to Sushi Tei, got a pretty good gym right beside the hotel.
The room is very clean; the only thing that it needs for improvement is the bath up and shower placement.

Breakfast is pretty good - hopefully there will be more varieties in the future.

Quiet & peaceful. Frendly staff.

Stayed 4 nights. The environment of the hotel is peaceful amd no noise disturbance although the main road is with walking distance. Room is comfortable and staff is friendly.

The only complain is the spa. Our package gave us an option of 1/2 hour massage for 2 pax or 1 hour for 1 pax. It was such a hassle when making the appointment and we had to go to the reception to confirm our package allows for 1 hour as they insisted it was only for 1/2 hour . Then when we went for the massage, we were given only 1/2 hour. This was the most stressful massage experience ever. We felt let down.
