Don't trust them with your special day
sad0306on 04/06/2017 14:23I'm just back from a golden wedding celebration at this hotel. The couple concerned had been shown and booked a function room with natural light and direct access to a fenced garden for grandchildren to play in. On the actual morning of the party they were told that the room they had booked had now been given to another group who had booked after them. With their guests already arrived or travelling the elderly couple had no choice but to use a different function room with no natural light and nowhere for the children to play. Don't run the risk with your special day.
Sunday Lunch in a Lovely Setting
Charlotte Jon 02/06/2017 23:06A lovely venue in beautiful grounds. The restaurant is very attractive with crisp white linen tablecloths and linen table napkins. Staff were friendly and very attentive. The soup was very tasty but only luke warm and had to be sent back. The prawn cocktail was lovely. All food was well presented and looked attractive. The main course was well cooked and looked good and was very tasty, Portions were not particularly big and veg and potatoes were presented on the plate and no separate dish to help yourself to more. On request we asked for the veg to be well cooked rather than al dente. Puddings were also lovely and looked good. If you want a classy venue and want to dress up and feel special, this is the place to go.
No country view
andrea18ldnon 28/05/2017 17:58Booked the last room in the hotel. The room was small, had a smell of damp, and large air con unit outside window. This didn't live up to the pictures online that lead us to go slightly out of our way to stay there. There must be a large disparity between best and 'last' rooms. The room we got was not good value in the price bracket.
One night stay
lizzyclark372on 27/05/2017 17:53When we arrived at the hotel it was evening. We had a really friendly greeting by the lady in reception. Our room had been set up with a 'z' bed for our son. My husband ended up sleeping on it and was pleasantly surprised by how comfortable it was. We took our dog with us too. In the room was a pouch of dog food which was a lovely touch. The grounds were beautiful, natural and not overly styled. The outdoor games, giant jenga and chess offered good entertainment. Breakfast was very pleasant and again the staff were very friendly and efficient. We will definitely consider staying there again if we are in that area.

Thank you for helping to make our daughter's and now son in law's perfect wedding .
Would definitely recommend The Hatherley Manor for a wedding venue 🙂
