Hospital hotel outside of city centre
yismanon 06/08/2017 21:43It's a little outside the city centre, about 3 km. The hotel is linked with a hospital, so I wouldn't recommend it for tourists. The rooms are nice though, and the breakfast is also good. I would only recommend this for people who have to be close to the hospital. Also only wifi in the lobby.

It might be a little bit cheaper than many other hotels, but outdated rooms and the location makes it fall down on the list. They are refurbishing right now, so it might be better soon. Ok food, but not great. Pluss for buffet, and serving 4 meals a day. Expensive to pay per meal, breakfast is included of course, but for 300 NOK you can eat as much lunch, dinner and evening meal as you want. With prises beeing as they are in Norway, that is not bad. 5-10 minutes by bus from the city center, and 5 minutes walk to the Ulrikken gondola. The last is worth a visit.

Trondocon 01/01/2017 10:28You must avoid this place even if you are going to the hospital. Much better and not more expensive to stay in a great hotel in downtown or Bryggen . This is like staying in a hospital room, single beds, thin blankets, spartan furnishings, poor TV. breakfast a simple, straight from packets. Staff uninterested in you . The worst thing is the price , both the room and the Parking .
Close to the hospital
Ennasusleeon 13/09/2016 16:06It's a simple hotel with friendly staff. The rooms are old but it's okay. The breakfast was ok. If I'm going back to Bergen then I would choose another. But are you going to be a patient at the hospital it's a great location.

fjasogvason 20/07/2016 08:38I did not realise when I ordered that this is the hospital hotel. It was a good price with breakfast, 30 min walk outside of Bergen sentrum. The hotel smelled hospital, it was old with only single beds. The breakfast was poor. The personal was friendly, (receptionist was a nurse.) If you are not sick, stay away, I will.
