Some people had expressed scepticism about our staying at this Hotel as it did not have great reviews locally. We could not find fault with them.

Arrived mid afternoon with happy smiley faces to greet us, easy book in and taken straight to room. Bedroom was comfortable but could have done with modernisation but was warm, clean and spacious with a three seater setee as well as a table and two chairs and twin beds.

Bathroom was dated in appearence but functional with fantastic shower and heated floor so adequate for our stay. Room was quiet overlooking the car park at the rear of the building.

Breakfast was plentiful and tasty with good selection.

Restaurant was good quality and drinks were varied and reasonably priced.

Everyone of the staff were eager to help us at all times and always had a smile on their faces and interested in where we were from.

nice staff, but no security

no fire alarms, no Smoke Detector in the rooms. no night guard that can alert guests if fire .If it begins to burn as it will become a disaster. so bring your own smoke detector. much traffic noise .otherwise it is okay. clean. and cheap. was there for 6 nigths

Not good value for money

Was looking forward to stay at this traditional inn one night to break up our journey. Its an old building which I dont mind, as long as its clean. Size of room for two was good and the bed was comfy. All good until entering the bathroom. First thing I noticed was hair everywhere on the floor (not mine). That put me off, disgusting! Shower was mouldy and the smell very musty. I didnt want to use the shower and spent as little time in there as possible. We had dinner at night. We ordered schnitzel without the little fish on top. The food was served with fish and tasted average. Coffee with sugar and milk was served with milk and creamer?! Breakfast buffet was very good though. No one asked how our stay was. I did fill out a form about our stay at the reception. I was really disappointed of the room standard and the lack of service from the kitchen.

Ok place to sleep, but avoid restaurant

Hotel was easy to find, free parking. Rooms were clean, but quite small if you have two extra kids bed. Restaurant: food was greasy and there where strange limitations what you can order in specific time of day. Breakfast was the worst I have ever seen: tea, coffee, juice, white bread, cornflakes, milk, couple slices of tomato, cheese and cucumber. Staff didn't fill breakfast table when it was empty, they just walked by.

a place with atmosphere

this hotel is a 10-15 min drive out of Fredericia.
they have a resturant which serves danish food at very resonable prices. its not gourmet but it is very cheap considering the quality.
but the prices for drinks quickly makes up for that :)
the rooms are okay. nothing special. but what makes this a nice place is the staff and the reason why i would return.
