Excec lounge is great
MikeCuthberton 25/06/2017 19:01We weekended here and to make it better i upgraded to the exec floors. Cannot say enough about the girls who work in there. Mary is like an old friend she is a real bonus and does the entire hilton chain credit. She works the room tirelessly to make everyone feel welcome.
A Room with a View (NOT)
Brad_Lizzieon 25/06/2017 17:51The only good thing about this hotel was the staff, who were all helpful and friendly, in a hotel that is simply not good enough for an international chain of this calibre.
I was put in a room with a view of a wall. I couldn't tell if the curtains were open or shut, as the view was the same. I was not going to bother to do anything about it as I was there on business, but then saw a note on my pillow saying "If there is anything you are not happy with on your stay, let us know, and we will fix it." They couldn't. At least not for a day. I have attached a photo of the view to illustrate my point - it is simply not acceptable to put guests into a room like this.
The rooms have had some sort of renovation but the corridors and rooms themselves still have the cheap wood effect laminate that dates it back to the 70's.
Hilton - you really should do better, as this hotel damages your brand.

Campbell0911on 25/06/2017 10:13Cannot recommend Hilton Belfast enough. We arrived yesterday for a hen party and from beginning to end we were given first class treatment. The room was beautiful and very clean. Our afternoon tea was exquisite, the food was amazing. Our cocktail class was extra special and the best fun. Special mention to Jason Cairns and Michael (from the bar) who went out of their way to make our trip the best it could be. 5 stars Hilton 😊

mytravelthoughtson 22/06/2017 22:52Stayed one night for a work trip. When I arrived there was a wedding on and the receptionist could barely hear me. I had already checked in with the Hilton app the day before. The receptionist proudly gave me a letter about the special privileges I would get as a Hilton Honors member such as free bottled water. I was not really expecting this but happy to get it. However when I got to my room there was no free water in sight but someone's medicines in the fridge! I also tried calling the reception to get this sorted.eventually it was answered and got it sorted out but I had to ring a few times before the phone was answered. In addition, I had been offered a special offer of breakfast by email a few days before which I accepted. However at check in the receptionist could not find any record but said that would be fine. The next morning I thought I better check on this as other aspects had not been sorted out - it turned out that breakfast had not been arranged! When I finally got to breakfast, the staff were very hardworking, particularly the male lead server who worked hard to get people seated and clear tables. He was probably the most efficient person i came across during the whole stay. Some previous reviews have complained about the smell from the gym. It is smelly outside the gym but not inside. The gym is compact but has enough equipment for a quick and simple workout. The hotel is also located close to a shopping centre with simple cafes, so very convenient. Easy to walk to other places in the city centre. Overall an adequate stay but not the best Hilton I have stayed in!
Good folk, needs a refurb
Harvey Con 21/06/2017 20:33I would test the prices of the top hotels in town before staying here. The personnel are grand but the property needs a refurb. The location is fine. If you have a meeting at the convention center, there is no interior connection sadly.
