Prasanna Won 02/06/2017 14:41I stayed here for 14 days during April/May 2017. Staff were welcoming and friendly. The room was very spacious, clean and comfy. It's next to the beach, has restaurant/bar - great live music at night.

Peter Von 25/05/2017 23:04I stayed here for 6 days for a diving trip mid May 2017. Devocean divers are located in the resort and I got an interesting package deal. Devocean divers are awesome by the way (see separate review). Lee was so quick and friendly answering all my queries that I did not hesitate for long to decide to choose this resort. The rooms (I opted for the 'superior room' with AC and hot shower) are clean and spacious enough. I liked the presence of a fridge and the bed was really comfortable for me. The breakfast is delicious and the lunch and dinner very good too. I had read previous reviews with poor comments regarding the service and quality but I guess they worked hard on these aspects. Even at the busiest moments I never needed to wait unreasonably long to get my food. In fact I found them to be rather quick! I had raw vegetables (salad) every day and did not have any digestive problems whatsoever and I usually am quite sensitive.. The personnel is very friendly. I particularly appreciated the male waitor (Romar ?). I highly recommend this resort, it's great value for money and I hope to be able to go back soon!
Wonderful and Relaxing
Casey Don 26/03/2017 02:53Hippocampus has everything you need to have a great stay on Malapascua. The rooms are clean. well air-conditioned, and good sized. The staff is super friendly and are always available to help with whatever you need. Wifi can be a bit spotty on the island in general and usually no signal in the room. But the lobby and eating area has signal.

Marcusdelaney82on 25/03/2017 19:32This was my second stay at Hippocampus and once again it did not disappoint!. It has a friendly atmosphere with great staff and definitely one of the best bars to drink at on the island. The rooms are big, clean and comfortable and offer good value for money.

Seriously wonderful and tasty meals had for breakfast, lunch and supper.
Hospitality is beyond awesome here. I would HIGHLY recommend eating and drinking here. Everyone makes you feel like family.
