Stayed two nights in this hotel while taking our granddaughter to University. The first room that we were given at 5pm had not been cleaned that day. Went back to the desk and we were given another room. I asked if we were near our family that we were traveling with---they said " oh yes---you are on the same floor" We weren't!!!
We were on the 4th floor and they were on the 2nd. The shower door in our room was rusted and would not slide so took showers with the door open. No air conditioning in elevators or hallways---98 degrees outside. There has to be better places to stay in this beautiful city.

This hotel was nice. Overall, the exterior and grounds were well kept. The lobby was very spacious with plenty of seating. Our room was clean and the beds were very comfortable. After a day in the car, the kids really enjoyed the pool. I thought that it was really clean and the pool area around it was nice. My only complaint was that the lounge chairs seemed old and weathered or dirty. You wouldn't want to lay on them!! It is located just off I77 and visible from the highway so no need trying to find it. There seemed to be restaurants, etc just down the road but we didn't explore. We enjoyed our 1 night stay here and you will tool

We stayed here as a stop on our way to Florida from Ohio. Initially once you walk in it is beautiful. People were super friendly and room was very nice and clean with a fridge and microwave. We were on the 3rd floor and the ice machine was broken. There are no vending machines but a small shop behind the front desk. You have to have correct change for purchase. Restaurant does not except cash only cards. The night we were there I noticed the lounge was closed during posted operating hours. Another odd thing is there is no fan in the bathroom. After 4 showers the condensation was dripping from the ceiling. Which eventually is going to lead to a major mold issue. Pool was very nice and clean. All and all we would stay again.

Staff pleasant. Lobby spartan. Rooms with contemporary furnishings but old overall. Room clean but cant overcome the work needed on grout and shower fittings. Bed comfortable and clean. Overall its just tired looking. Maybe that is why a new hie is being built across the street???

I stayed at this location the week of July 10, 2017. I am usually a big fan of the HI hotel properties but this one missed the mark. The front desk staff was terrific and the lobby was clean. The room on the 6th floor showed its age with a cracked vinyl headboard that needs replacing. The room also smelled musty and damp. On the bright side, the bed itself was comfortable and I was pleased to see that the mattress was encased in a protective cover. I would not stay at this property again due to the smell in the room and hallways.
