Good basic hotel

Nothing fancy but location is prime if doing business in Warren. Clean, simple and friendly front desk staff. Full bar is nice touch. Reception on Wed with food and beer is another nice touch. Breakfast was slow so give yourself time.

The hotel was clean and staff was very helpful. I would stay again if in the area. Four bus loads of children were in the hotel on the same night and I asked for a quiet area for my husband and I. The front desk put us on the top floor which was very quiet until 2 am when a wedding party staying next door and across the hall got quite loud. Although we did not call to complain, someone must have, hotel personnel came up quickly and put and end to it. Peace and quiet for the rest of the night! The only complaint I have for the room would be very low water pressure in the shower. The only complaint I have for the hotel as a whole would be no breakfast. The restaurant that they have on sight is not open during lunch hours. Also, it is not open very early for those that need to get out earlier and would like something before they go.

Very nice hotel. Clean rooms. Friendly staff. This hotel has a full restaurant so if your needing to eat and run it may not work for you. Had a large bus group I brought in and they did not realize this. Restaurant didn't open until 7:00am on Saturday and they were due at their meeting at 7:30. Otherwise, nice place.

I was at the hotel in the month of Febuary 2017 with my dance group. The lobby is clean but fairly small. The pool is big and looks very nice. The fitness room is quite small and has two treadmills. There are also two elevators which bring you upstairs. I was on the second floor and the room was spacious and very clean. There is a tv, mini fridge and the sink was outside of the bathroom which was interesting. The pillows were very comfortable however I would have liked another blanket. Also, I could not figure out how to close the blinds fully so the very bright light in front of the hotel was shining in my face the whole night. This is where it gets disappointing. The next morning we had breakfast. Very very limited choice, eggs were gross and watery, no bacon left, no cereal or oatmeal overall horrible breakfast. Not to metinion how RUDE the staff was. I wanted some juice and I saw that there was no waiters around so I went and helped my self by the machine and the waitress came and told me to get away from the machine. Like okay.... Then when we sat down we asked the lady if we could get some forks and knives and she just looked at us rudely and walked away without saying anything. (Brown long haired girl) After five minutes of waiting, and our nasty food already got cold the lady came with the forks and knives. One of my friends was getting annoyed and she said the service was not very good. Instead of the waiter apologizing, she gives that rude look again and walks away. She walks away to the other rude girl (blonde hair from the orange juice machine) and tells her what we said and they keep staring at us and laughing. Overall, the staff was very rude and made us feel uncomfortable. The hotel has potential and I hope they read this review and reflect from it.
P.S I highly advice everyone to eat breakfast somewhere else not in the hotel though.

This hotel is very conveniently located for all GM business travelers: simply cross the street and you are in the VEC tower of the GM Tech center.
The hotel is a bit hard to find, as it is a bit away from Van Dycke Av.
Staff is very friendly, rooms are OK too. The only downside is the bathroom, which is too small and a bit old fashioned. Something that was disturbing for me, is breakfast. There is no breakfast buffet, so you only get a meal cooked to order. That sounds nice, but it took two days in a row a long time before the food was served. This works much better in other Holiday Inns.
