What People are saying

Ok hotel. One front desk person was friendly.

Todd Hon 31/07/2017 16:56

Checked in and the one lady working at the front desk was helpful all weekend. I cant say the rest of the staff was that great. The Air conditioner in the room was as loud as a freight train and sounded like dripping water. If you didnt run the AC the room was hot as the desert. Asked 3 times for an extra blanket none was brought to us. Asked for an extra pillow none was available. No quarters in the whole hotel to be able to play pool. It was cash only at the hotel bar so if you wanted food or drinks you had to have cash no credit cards or room charge available. We stay here because its close to a lot of things. The free wifi was spotty at best.

Okay to stay on a tight budget!

Stayed there with my mother for three days, it was okay, not so family friendly as it is located close to the free way, yet close to the water park. Noisy rooms at the pool side, the elevator smelled like mold. The food and service at the restaurant is very good.

Convenient, family-friendly hotel

Took the family to see the fireworks around the 4th of July at World's of Fun. Decided we'd make a day out of it and get a hotel room nearby. This hotel is a bit older, but they have a great indoor pool and one of the biggest hot tubs I've ever seen. Rooms were clean; furniture, carpet and beds were good. A few nearby places within walking distance for breakfast. Parking was very convenient.

Their pictures are completely staged...

My family just got back from a 2 week trip traveling to different national parks out west, we stayed in practically a different hotel every night. This was the last night, and by far the worst hotel we booked. So bad in fact that we didn't end up staying. To get the rooms on the first floor you had to walk through a wet soggy hallway. The rooms on the second floor smelled very musky and smoky. The pool is indoor but not in an enclosed space so the rooms all smell of chlorine. The curtains in all 3 of our rooms were falling down, the bathrooms we tiny and ours had standing water in the tub. This hotel appeared to have some updates done but not to the rooms, mainly just the front desk and possibly the dining area. Hopefully they get around to updating the rooms soon...

Wow worst Holiday I've ever had to stay

The staff were all great to me the past three weeks but this place is hurting to be remodeled.
If I was to guess I'd say it's one of the last old school holidays around.

I'm actually very surprised this place gets to keep the brand name. The only saving grace for it; in my opinion it's stays alive because of the water park across the street.

Place has a bar which rarely gets there beer shipments in. Food there is pretty good depending, but the burger is best bang for buck.

Room wise, well I have a list. I first went out and bought groceries to save money but fridge froze all my food set below one on the dial. Had to throw things away and wait two days for a replacement.
One night I was stuck in my room and had to call front desk to be let out. The door lever pulled off and I couldn't get it to spring the door open.
Air conditioner works but it sounds like an F-16 taking off, didn't sleep first three days, guess I'm used to it now.
Room service gals are great very friendly and helpful. Always willing to clean, but I usually caught them in the hallway to resupply.
No free breakfast here, at check in the gal said it would cost me like 9 bucks. After looking at it that next morning I'd say don't waste your money, go elsewhere for that cost.
Pretty much everywhere I've stayed a nice complimentary breakfast is offered.
Pool well with the thousands of kids staying I decided against that.

First night sounded like a shoot out across the street, but for sure not a night without loud sirens. Of course the police patrol makes me wonder.
There are shady people in and out of here, maybe drugs, maybe prostitution but I do know that activity is not a normal one.
Aaaah one more week and I'm gone thank goodness, won't be back y choice.
