ketansmehtaon 20/08/2017 22:16the check in counter was clueless about our booking. Had to wait 10 mins for confirmation. The room was very spacious and clean. Lighting was however very poor in the room. WiFi was very slow. Had a hard time checking out as well as the room rate was wrongly charged. Location is average.

Anonreviewgirlon 12/08/2017 05:29Firstly, the breakfast here was not that great. Its supposed to be a buffet, but the food was very meager. Just bacon, pancakes and some fruits. There was no bread or croissant. And they did not refill it or whatever once the pancakes got over.
Secondly, there is no safe in the room. And the walls are too thin. It was too noisy and if you're stuck with annoying kids next door, well, you won't even have a peace of mind.
The AC is ancient, (although I will say that it does do its job).
And the BIGGEST problem of all is the wifi. It is so slow.
And you can't even order food up to your room after 9:30 pm.
To be fair, the hotel is pretty neat - no dust or anything and they put a lot of complimentary stuff like even mouthwash and makeup remover cloths which was pretty neat.
All in all it's a 6.5 / 10.
Don't drink the ice

Wonderful Birthday Weekend
theothermotheron 25/07/2017 20:41My 59th Birthday, and I wanted to spend it in my home town. Downtown Lafayette has always held a special place in my heart. Holiday Inn Lafayette-City Center was the perfect place for us. Took out tandem dike with us and had a great time riding around town and stopping in all the great stores. Farmers Market was wonderful too.
Our Room was so nice! The front desk Manager knew it was my birthday and up graded us to a beautiful room on the 8th floor. The balcony had a wonderful view of downtown. It was spotless,Good mattress (I slept till 9:30 am and that is LATE for me), and that tub was to die for..
Close to so many things to do.
We did not eat at the hotel, so I cannot comment on that.
The staff was friendly and sweet.
Check-in was fast and easy also.
plenty of parking.
I do not have one complaint. NOT ONE!
Lousy hotel
RRSHOWon 22/07/2017 19:28Went for a wedding. Service was mildly decent but the food was absolutely horrible. I would never recommend anyone plan their wedding at this facility.
Our room wasn't all that great either, except for the mattress, but that's where it ended. WAY overpriced for what garbage we received. If you're looking for a slam-dunk all-around good hotel and conference center; keep looking because this isn't it.
