Karen Bon 01/08/2017 16:57This was absolutely the worst experience. Staff was rude. Air Conditioning non existent. Rooms were totally unacceptable. Had every thing messed up from the beginning. Hotel was non accommodating in any way shape or form.
This is the worst hotel I've ever stayed at.
Terrance oon 30/07/2017 16:30If a bulldozer got loose and ran over this place and most of the staff it would be an improvement. It was filthy, the pool was filthy, the hot tubs didn't work, the water in the pool was green, the rooms were dirty, there were bugs on the floor, and there was mold every place. I told Ms. Snarky at the front desk that my toilet leaked and she said she would have it fixed... which she never did. Then, in the middle of the night, they moved me to a smoking room where I couldn't breath. Again they moved me to another room a told me that I had asked for a smoking room which is BS. Another filthy room, but I was to tired to fight at this point. The bar never opened and breakfast closed early. I've lived in hole in the ground in combat and it was cleaner than this place. I don't like to hit the race card, I'm white and grew up in DC with lots of Black Folks who are good people and I've been to Combat with them, at this Hotel they don't like White people or maybe they just don't like anybody. Today is Sunday, but tomorrow I am going to contact the Shreveport Health Department about shutting this disgusting place down. Ramada has lost my business for the remainder of my time on this planet.
It's sad when management stops caring
Jack Zon 29/07/2017 17:57Offering a good hotel is not rocket science: just make sure it's clean, comfortable and safe. This Ramada really doesn't fully live up to the first two. My room looked old and tired, and the stains on the carpet didn't help. The bed was okay, but the bathroom left much to be desired. There was actually a humidifier plugged in, in the hallway, with the cord extending across the carpeted floor. I'd wondered why they didn't cover up the cord, to prevent someone from actually tripping over it. Front desk staff were nice, and their service was fine, but it felt like this hotel had its heyday back around 1974. It's high time for an update, people!
