Accommodating hotel with a friendly staff
Nashnaon 28/06/2017 18:06We arrived at 10:00pm and were warmly greeted by the front desk attendant. Our room was located on the 2nd floor which required a long walk down the corridor on both the first and second floors. We were tired after several days of travel and were pleasantly surprised by the spacious, clean room. Our room had some very strange large looking red electrical looking wires running down the ceiling to a box. This was the only complaint we had with the room as it looked like it belonged hidden.We were leaving the next morning so we were not able to use the recreation facilities. However, the pool looked inviting. The facility is surrounded by trees on three sides which makes for a very relaxing setting. We do intend to stay here again when our travels bring us to Rhode Island.

Washer and dryer located near elevator with soap dispensing machine. Breakfast made to order servings were large and tasty. Coffee and cookies in lobby. Large outdoor pool and volleyball court. Very pleasant staff - easy check in.
Convenient, quiet, clean, friendly
Royzeeon 15/06/2017 01:35Stayed here for 2 nights for a family function in nearby Narragansett. Had a room on the 3rd floor facing the front of the hotel. The hotel is behind a little shopping center and cinemas so you could easily walk to restaurants, shops and movies right across the parking lot. King "study" room had a couch, microwave, mini fridge and single cup coffee maker. Roomy enough for us and very clean. Breakfast was typical Hampton inn fare with a good choice of cereals and fruit. Nice indoor pool and hot tub. Good fitness center with free weights, a treadmill, cross-trainer and bike. If you are coming north to the hotel from Wakefield or Narragansett you cannot make a direct left turn to the shopping center/hotel; you have to take the right turnoff for a " jug handle " that brings you to the light to go straight into the shopping center/hotel. Would definitely stay here again.
Good Value, Friendly Staff
Sara Son 31/05/2017 22:26We stayed here for the second time this past weekend. The first time was several years ago and we were not impressed because our room was super worn out. They have since gone under a renovation of the hotel and we had a much nicer stay. We were here for a wedding this time. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We had a King room overlooking the pool which looked very well kept. If it hadn't been so cold we would have loved to enjoy a swim. I think a great thing about this hotel is it has a restaurant- not all hotels in this category do- we had breakfast there and it was good. I had recently stayed in quite a few midlevel hotels for work with limited hour restaurants or not full service and it is nice to be able to still have the option for room service at a value hotel. The hotel is close to Narragansett beach- about 10 min drive.
Great location and staff, slightly outdated rooms
Lorry Lon 31/05/2017 22:04Typically I don't get a room for the decor, so the fact that the bathrooms were outdated did not bother me. If updated decor is your thing, this is not the spot for you. Breakfast is not included, but while we were there they were offering a breakfast buffet for $12.95 for adults, which seemed like a great price. We also walked across to Dunkin Donuts and Subway. The gas station also has a big selection of food, and I totally recommend the pizza. Sounds funny, but its true. The hotel has a bar with reasonable prices, a great evening option so you don't have to drive. Pool is outdoor only. We felt 20 minutes from everything. We did a lot of siteseeing...mansions, coast, Newport, Providence, and this felt like a great central location at a lower price than some other places I checked. Recommend for a reasonable rate and for folks not spending a ton of time in the room.
