davesue661on 18/09/2016 19:14Worst place to stay in Grass Valley. Staff not friendly at all. Were there for a car show in Grass Valley. These People are not car people. No hot water when we got there. Didn't get the rooms we were told we were getting when we reserved them. Told us to Be quiet in the parking lot at 9:15pm.
Mining Theme Room a Good Experience
roguebnbon 24/08/2016 18:39I quite enjoyed staying a couple of nights in the mining themed room. I was planning to do some interior decorating along this line and wanted to experience some full scale decoration. The oak plank walls and door, whiskey barrel and cable spool, mining antiques on some walls and a full height wallpaper mural on another provided a great experience. The bathroom was a little long in the tooth. It had the thinnest paper I have ever seen, some cracked tiles and a couple of ants. There is an indoor/outdoor breakfast area at the main office. A really nice place to enjoy your coffee and pastry.
Family fun
Jamezzzzon 01/08/2016 01:36My family stayed here last night. It was nice, clean and comfy with a working A/C. A little old and beat up, but since it was nice and clean and the rooms didn't smell, it made it very comfortable to kick back and relax. The pool was awesome! They have a mini fridge, microwave, and a small coffee pot in the rooms. The rooms were quiet and we didn't hear any of our neighbors. They also had a nice little continental breakfast. My daughter loved the little boxes of cereal.
I would definitely stay here again if I'm ever in Grass Valley again.
The only down side: we had a room with 2 double beds, and they charged $10 for an extra adult. There was 3 of us. If you're renting a room with 2 double beds, that fits up to 4 adults, not 2.
But all in all, it's a nice place.
Avoid this one
TAMARA Fon 18/05/2016 01:44Dirty bathrooms, old musty smelling rooms with hard beds. We had two rooms and in one the toilet stopped up and the other one the hot water stopped. Breakfast was very skimpy and the pool was half full.
stay away from there
debra bon 17/05/2016 22:20Rooms dirty and outdated, tub is high off ground and very old, no hot water in one of the rooms- no one on duty until after 6:30 am and then they had to re-route the hot water through another room to the room we were staying in. The only thing that was ok was the beds.
