You can have a great stay if you know what to expect!
BackPackBexon 07/06/2017 17:46We booked through Teletext and got a cheap deal, we were in the furthest possible bungalow from the restaurant and reception. Which was fine but we could have used some help with our luggage when we arrived because of the steep steps.
The bungalow was basic but adequate. It could do with a kettle, and a double bed should always have a double duvet/sheet not two singles.
The bathroom wasn't fantastic and the hot water ran out during my shower, we did also have an ant problem, but it was fine for a rustic week in the Croatian woods!
The staff were very friendly, and I told them about my severe food allergy on arrival and I felt like they took it seriously and did everything they could to make me feel safe.
The location is a little isolated but it is beautiful, so worth it for the scenary. We were informed of a local bus to the nearest city of Omis, the first bus was late and didn't stop for us, the second was an hour later and we were squashed on like cattle but it got us there in one piece!
The wifi is fantastic, we had 3 bars everywhere except the beach.
The food is basic but varied, we always found something we liked. Desserts could do with a little look at though.
One little point, perhaps some washing up liquid could be available so we could do our own washing up! Surely everybody can't buy there own bottle for the week?!
Beautiful seaside view, lot of green vegetation around hotel, mountain at the back
Z Won 07/06/2017 00:11The location is just great. Hotel is stretching along beach, you can hear waves slamming to shore. At the back, there is mountain standing like a wall, and the view from hotel tarace is pretty impressive.
Hotel is situated in the middle between Split and Makarska (for people preferring bars and clubs), and just 10 min drive from Omis if you are in for some rafting or cliff climbing. Me and my friends have stayed here few times in past years and for as guys, it was a great base for traveling around without need to worry about food.
I am vegetarian and there is always something for me and it is tasty. I like that they have both free ice cream and ice cream on stick that you can buy in the bar.
We have room with sea view and the view is great. Room has balcony, bathroom and it is decent size. There is small TV, small fridge, AC and WIFI access to internet. I have tested speed with my cell phone .... it is 7/7 Mbit/s. What I have noticed in my room that it is super clean. This is 3 star hotel and I have been in different "3stars" and this is the cleanest one ever.
Staff is friendly. I have passed by reception a lot of time and that lady there would always great me with big smile (if she was not dealing with guests). Everybody is helpful and nice.
This is hotel for nice peaceful vacation, family style. And this hotel is nice base for traveling around. If you are looking for hi-tech, modern place with 50 inch LED in rooms, bellboys and other stuff, that will not happen here. That will not happen anywhere in 3 star hotel for that price on Adriatic coast in June. 60€/person for 3 meals, drinks and coffee, room accommodation and that view is bargain.
Nice hotel
leemac1971on 06/06/2017 21:49I went to sagitta holiday village on the 14th of may for a week with family we stayed on all inclusive the food was good plenty of choice the dining area was always spotless the hotel has stunning views and the staff are very helpful and polite, the rooms were always.cleaned everyday and comfortable we will definitely be returning next year for a week I would advise hiring a car as Croatia has beautiful views and plenty of places to visit
Beautiful location and very friendly helpful staff.
carinaandalanon 04/06/2017 17:22Myself and my husband stayed here from 17th - 24th May 2017. This was a lovely all inclusive break that we felt we got value for money with. The hotel is in a remote location but this suited us, the beach areas, restaurant and hotel facilities meant we had some very relaxing days staying in the resort. We stayed in an apartment, which had everything we needed, was very clean and was very spacious, including having two balconies. We also used the little supermarket, which was very convenient and reasonably priced.
The food was very good and good selection of drinks. We felt we got everything we paid for, but the biggest selling point are the friendly and helpful staff.
The Autobus services were fantastic and I would definitely say use the buses, the bus stop is right outside the hotel and reception gave us a copy of bus times. They are easy to use and everybody is very friendly and helpful.
The hotel is very steep and yes there are lots of steps, so it is not suitable for anyone with mobility problems. But a very beautiful location.
We would visit again.
Trouble free stay
Diana Kon 30/05/2017 20:29We have just returned from a 7 day stay at Sagitta and we genuinely enjoyed it. Hotel is located in a quiet village, around 10km away from Omis (my advise, rent a car - it is really cheap and incredibly convenient).
Our room was in the main building with a lovely sea-tree view. The room was spacious, clean and had pretty much everything we needed. One thing that could have been better is the bed. We requested a double room; however instead of a double, we had two joined single beds, with separate mattresses and single duvets, which was not ideal.
Hotel staff are truly exceptional - very helpful, smiley and attentive.
I've seen a few negative reviews about the 'all inclusiveness' of the hotel; however considering that it is 3 star hotel and the amount we paid - it is great value for money. There was plenty of food available and the choice was more than sufficient. One day we were traveling to Split, so hotel staff gave us packed lunches as we wouldn't have returned in time for lunch in the hotel. Two things I would have recommend, though, adding orange juice (the machine drink was not really juice, more of a squash type drink) and marking vegetarian options with letter 'v'. I found some dishes really confusing and did not want to pester staff each time trying to figure out the ingredients.
Hotel is spread across quite a large peace of land with a long pebble beach (don't forget your flip flops or water shoes!). We actually preferred walking to a more remote part near the bungalows - it allowed us to burn all those delicious cakes we had!
And finally - almighty wifi! Available all the time everywhere!!!!
