Yogi Ron 31/12/2016 09:13Staff people were very nice. One day stay is fine. Flush did not work. Hotel is not very clean. Saw few roaches in the room. Overall facility is not well maintained. Even though location is good, its not worth for relaxed vacation.

We have booked 2rooms for New year celebration and made advance payment also, a week prior. On 29/12/16 we received a call from the hotel and informed that they want to cancel our booking and the reason they informed that the AC is not working and some leak in bathroom. We asked them to do maintenance work since we have 3days time they told that no labourer is available. From their excuse its clear that they took another booking with more rate even after acepted money from us as advance. It was very difficult to get another hotel during the last moment especially for Newyear eve though we managed with double rate.
Been there on my first trip to god's own land
Parul Aon 19/10/2016 08:14The view from the hotel is the best thing you can expect in this hotel. rooms were clean and food was good but rooms were very simple which might feel like some low class hotel but the view makes up for it.
Prime property but poor maintenance
Swati Son 17/10/2016 12:26Holly hock located at the bank of back waters which is amazing location but the resort really need some maintenance and make over. Rooms and compound of the resort were not clean . Room number 105 and 106 have serious problem of seepage no one can stay there. Ac's are not working properly. Caretaker Manu is the only person for all type of work so many times when he prepare food he is unable to clean the room. Cleaning is the major problem as all types of insects are there because of backwaters and dampness. In short holy hock is a nice place but lack of maintenance.
Poorly maintained rooms
Prabhu_ERon 15/06/2016 10:18Rooms are not at all maintained, TV remotes were not available in the rooms. Water leakage was there that night due to rain so we kept a bucket which got full. Food was ridiculous. In the reception there was a boy named Mr.Raja, he is helpless, no lights in the bathroom when we asked him he searched all over the hotel and brought one from the corridor. Room tubelights went off but they dont have spare for that. With my family, we had to stay all night in a 60Watt bulb.
