I try not to be a pain in the ...neck, but I can be critical if any business that I deal with fails to deliver 'old-fashioned' customer-focused service (particularly considering that personally delivering that sort of service is a part of my job). I may be even more critical when traveling for business, since that need only arises when a situation exists that virtually ensures that I'm going to have a bad day! At the end of one of those days, the last thing I want is to have to deal with 'details' that should have been attended to before I arrived. I have now stayed at three Homewood Suites hotels, and they have become my 'go-to' choice of accommodations. There is seemingly no limit to the lengths to which HS will go, to assure a comfortable, trouble-free hotel stay! I used to be a regular customer at another well-known chain of hotels, and I do still use them, but only when there is no Homewood Suites property nearby my destination! Compared to any competitor (in the same approximate price range), HS' accommodations and service make the choice a 'no-brainer!!' If you have never stayed at a Homewood Suites hotel, do yourself a favor and experience 'home-like' comfort and customer service the way it used to, and should, be! I guarantee you won't regret it!
Best stay and worth the price!

I was only 1.5-2 miles away from my work site and it was 3-4 miles from the airport. This was the healthiest business trip I had. With walking every morning to work, healthy breakfast options, huge room accommodations to relax in, comfortable pool and light fare dinner. I will definitely be coming back and choosing this location for the next time I have to be in Portland for work... as of now it will be in 2 weeks!

rogerjd2017on 28/06/2017 22:32Great price for a great room.excellent staff providing excellent service. Only issue was the fire alarm going off towards the end of breakfast. Wish they extended it another 30 min. Will stay and regime hotel.

RamD Don 26/06/2017 22:05The property is showing its age a bit. Beds are a bit soft. Located next to a nice brewpub. Staff is great. Breakfast choices a bit limited. Location is close to a mall and about 3 miles from downtown Portland. Convenient to highways.
