No good in the rainy season

Stayed in the tent house: F4.
High humidity, not clean, linen with burn holes, loilet area had fungus, intercom not working.

Hot water is a big problem.

Good for honeymooners and those who want to have a private time😜. They have massage rooms too...

Bar serves good coctails and at reasonable price.

The'EP'or European meal Plan that they advertise is ₹650 per day extra, inclusive of breakfast, lunch, evening tea, dinner or if you start with lunch on day one, then you end with breakfast on day two.

Those with knee problems and 'climbing steps'issues, just forget this place.

The place very badly needs deep cleaning... so those finicky about dirt and grime... look somewhere else.

In Summary: OK place only for the young and fit and hot....

Fraud in name of GST & poor service

Was told gst will be charged but no mentioning of GST in hotel bill.
Receptionist are rude & unprofessional.
Charge extra 5% on cards but when objected they agreed but they do use such tricks to charge more money.
Towels provided had stains.
Super deluxe was not for 4 peoples. Sofa was provided for 4th person with very hard bed sheet.
Mentioned wifi will be provided but only at reception area no wifi in rooms.
Charged very high & disappointing.

visited horseland on the 1st and 2nd of july.
what a weekend!thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.
super clean and spacious rooms,well maintained pool,great dj,played foot tapping numbers.
they have activities organised picnic walk,housie,magic show,live food counters.
total paisa vasool weekend.
cant wait to visit again!

Pathetic rooms and service

Average food, nice pool, nice dj,pathetic rooms , no service at all. Staff insist you to buy or rent their cloths and giving you nonsense answers. Unhygiene dinning area. Rude staff in front desk with no skills. No coordination with their booking office

Horselan Matheran - Full Enjoyment. 15th & 16th July,2017

We had a great holiday at Horseland Hotel & Mountain Spa - Matheran.

We had arranged 20 years reunion after leaving college in 1997. It was a great experience at this place. We enjoyed a lot. Rooms are good.

Special thanks to the staff. One of our lady member had forget gold valuable in washroom. 2Hrs after leaving Hotel, she came to know about this. Worst part was non of the mobile was under coverage due to heavy rains. Hotel Land lines were not working. We went back to the Hotel to enquire same and we found it. Hotel cleaning staff had submitted the same at the reception. Hats off to the management and staff.
Now a days it very rare to get valuable back after missing.

During this Mr. Prasad Sawant and Mr. Umesh More has helped us.
