aspenanneon 02/08/2017 01:37This hostel is well-located. Rooms were nice and the breakfast was excellent with a lot of variety. The staff were extremely helpful when we arrived before check-in. Beds were comfortable. We would definitely stay again.
The best choice in Cologne
Andrei Kon 29/05/2017 08:26This hotel is the best choice in Cologne due to its pleasant conditions and geographical location. However, lack of air conditioning makes the ho(s)tel less interesting from May until September. The noise of the streets and surrounding terraces is very strong on the second floor, especially when you want to keep the window open because it's very hot. Otherwise, everything is fine.
Excellent Hostel
ben hon 14/03/2017 00:07I had to stay in cologne on business and found this place. It was surprising good. I would recommend this place to everyone. Its got great wifi. excellent breakfast. and the staff are very knowledgeable of the local area as well as the surrounding areas of cologne.
Great space lovely people
Kgriffiths999on 12/01/2017 19:43We came to stay for 15 nights while we were on business with 22 students. The staff were very helpful, breakfasts included in the price were great and the space in the room was terrific. Rooms were serviced every day and sheets changed about every 4 days. In comparison to other hostels such as Wombat, this was like a hotel. Even had a tv if only 4 channels. Internet pretty fast everywhere. Will definitely come back and highly recommend to all ages!
Delivers everything as promised!
Chrislin3on 06/12/2016 12:40This is not a luxury hotel - the clue is in the name! Understanding that then what is delivered is spot on. The staff are very friendly, everywhere is very clean and the facilities that are provided all work very well e.g. rooms nice and warm and oceans of hot water! Breakfast has choices - better than just bread and jam but not a full English! Lots of yoghurts, cereals, bread, diy toast, meats and scrambled/boiled eggs etc. Frequently refreshed so no complaints. We had an English school party staying on our floor the first night so there was noise - second night much more peaceful. We reserved a parking space in the underground car park and finding the hostel by road was quite straightforward. The hostel location is excellent. In theory it takes about 15/20 minutes to walk to the cathedral but as the route is through a major shopping pedestrianised zone it tends to take longer!!! Excellent location. We went for the Xmas markets and found one was literally round the corner and four others all within easy walking distance. Free wifi which worked very well in all parts of the hostel. Would happily stay here again.
