One night stay
Rachel Bon 20/08/2017 16:10Stayed here for one night with a friend, great location with the bus station, train station and the port all within walking distance. There are many places to eat and plenty of supermarkets around the hostel. Inna was friendly and welcoming to us and also very helpful with organising our day trip to Krka National Park. I would recommend staying here.
Great stay in Split!
Shara Fon 14/08/2017 11:52We stayed in a Double with private bathroom and the accommodations were clean, comfortable, and air conditioned! Inna who greeted us when we checked in was the jewel of establishment. She was very helpful with tips on where to go and what to do, so friendly and full of energy! The location is also very good, very close to Diocletian's Palace and other areas of Split. My only recommendation for this hostel is maybe please keep the kitchen tidy, although I know it's difficult with so many visitors.
Friendly Hostel
David Von 10/07/2017 11:34I stayed here for one night before my croatia sailing trip and thought it was great. Staff were so friendly and the hostel has a great location. it is really close to the express bus from the airport, and you can walk to all the major attractions in Split. Meet some really nice people here. Would recommend to backpackers and solo travellers
Studio with no-sunlight on the ground floor level
shakira2015on 09/07/2017 14:20I booked a private studio with private bath, through Split Backpackers - it turns out the owner of the private studio posts her properties through this hostel website.
The place is on a street level facing the north - meaning you get no sunlight in this room.
It can be very depressing if you were to spend all day in that dark room, but luckily I only had 2 nights in this place & most of the time, I was outside sightseeing.
It's inexpensive, but such rooms with no sunlight should be clearly mentioned on the website or perhaps not even used for a rental property to tourists. It's cheaper than other average private studios in Split, and I understood why. It also had an impact on my impression of Split - a city where I had a place with no sunlight.
The next time I visit Split, I will pay more $$ but stay somewhere where at least the room gets a good amount of sunlight.
