What People are saying

Cosy and friendly

Nice homelike atmosphere, very friendly and extraordinary helpful host. Offered to give us a lift to a restaurant in Beernem. Changed our rooms to some more suitable to our needs. Good breakfast.
Most recommendable.

Pleasurable stay

The hotel is around 10 minutes away from Bruges - perfect if you have a car, and they have space for parking. Hotel is very cosy with lovely decor and very welcoming hosts. Breakfast was excellent. Would definitely recommend.

Such lovely, lovely hosts. Great hotel and dog friendly too

From the moment when we were greeted with a broad smile and effortless help, to the cheery wave goodbye, our stay was brilliant. The hosts couldn't have done anything more to help - supplying us with local beer, directing us to a charming local (tourist-free!) restaurant, helping is to our rooms with our bags,

The location is so handy, being close to the motorway and an easy journey to Brugge.

I cannot recommend this highly enough.

Exceptional hotel in so many ways - we will be back

Struggling to find somewhere in Belgium where we could stay with our two dogs, we found Hostellerie Ten Lande by chance via a trip advisor review..
It did not disappoint... Run by a wonderful family, the accommodation was first class and the service provided exemplary. We wanted for nothing and were treated like one of the family. Our dogs were relaxed from the moment we arrived, which says it all. We have Siberian Huskies and they are quite a hard dog to please!
We sampled local Belgium beer while we were there and had a fabulous meal in a local restaurant thanks to the recommendation of the Hostellerie's owners.
Thank you Bony and Maya

A wonderful find - a great hotel and excellent base for exploring western Belgium

For our five night stay in Belgium we wanted a comfortable family-run hotel in a small town with easy access to Bruges and Ghent and an option for some interesting cycling. Hostellerie Ten Lande ticked all the boxes...and more! The hotel is beautifully decorated and clean and the breakfasts were generous, fresh and tasty.
Indeed, our hosts Bonie and Maya couldn't have made us more welcome. We stayed in room 10 which is the delightful 3-room suite on the first floor overlooking the rear garden/car park offering plenty of space to relax after a day's cycling.
One of the cycle network nodes is adjacent to the hotel and the A10 motorway is conveniently close, yet the hotel has the feel of being in the country. At the moment the hotel does not offer an evening meal but this wasn't a problem - the hotel recommends a number of restaurants (two within easy walking distance and a number of others only a short driving distance away); one of the hotel's recommendations De Zotte Mutse proved to be an excellent find with local cuisine. Bruges is a pleasant cycle ride along the canal from the hotel and it is also possible to take the bikes by car to one of the picturesque outlying villages and to cycle in to Bruges or Ghent from there. Bonie was most helpful in recommending routes and loaning us detailed maps of the area. Based on our experience we wouldn't hesitate to recommend the hotel to others and we are definitely planning a return visit.
