Overnight business trip

We had small, clean room with refridgerator and ample, clean bathroom. Arriving after the long drive from Santiago it was nice to dip in the pool. They say maintenance is after 8pm but we didn't see the pool cleaners until the next morning. The setting is relaxing and and the meals at the restaurant very good. Easy to find. Good location.
Internet worked well in the room. Also a "business center" near the front desk.

This motel is ideal for those travelling by car, because you can park at the door of your room; but it is also very good for those travellers arriving by plane. Very quiet but family friendly with a swimming pool & contemporary decor throughout. Restaurant is truly excellent, priced accordingly. Although Las Pircas is not located in the city centre it is only a ten minute walk to the new (as of 2017) Copiapo Mall. (Much to the writer's surprise, this is a world class mall in a relatively small city). Also, only a 10 min. walk to the Copiapo Museum. The staff throughout Hosteria Las Pircas are superlative in every respect (only Spanish is spoken but this was not a concern to the writer).

We spent a few nights here whilst in Copiapo. The hosteria is designed like a motel, with convenient parking immediately outside the rooms. The rooms themselves are modern and clean, but lack air-conditioning. The outside seating area is a nice place to sit and relax during the heat of the day. Good restaurant and very helpful staff. Good WiFi in the communal areas, but not in the rooms.

I've recently stayed here during a trip into the Chilean desert and this hotel served as a gateway for our trip. The staff provided excellent service from the point of checking in until departure. Everything from concierge suggestions on local venues, car rental recommendations, room service requests to the delicious food that comes out of the in-house restaurant was top notch.
The rooms are clean, comfortable and offer TV and WI-FI... Nice showers too.
