Good location, very basic
DarrenJ75on 06/03/2017 22:07I normally base a review on the cost. I didnt pay for this hotel as it was part of a stag do package, so my view might be slightly skewed. The location is ok, about 10/15 minute walking distance from the main square.
We were put in a room in the loft, which is where they probably stick all the stag do'ers. At the end of the bed closest to the eaves there was no chance of standing so i had to sleep with my head in the middle of the room, which felt odd.
The furniture was very dated and the floor was carpet tiles. The shower was ok as was the general cleanliness.
The staff were really friendly, especially they had to deal with a big bunch of drunk blokes. The lift is ridiculously slow, it was quicker to walk to the 5th floor.
Hotel ok, location not bad
Great location, good staff, charming decor
lillesommerfuglon 09/06/2016 01:27This hotel has very attentive and sweet staff. We had several deliveries to the hotel and they helped us out. Whenever we needed anything they tried to help us.
The location is just between the Old City and Kazimierz, so great if you want to sightsee in both.
The wifi worked fine.
The decor, especially in the common areas, is charming.
There is an elevator from the ground floor, but there are 5 steps up from the street to the ground level. Was a bit difficult to navigate the stairs with the stroller for our baby, but the staff helped us, so it worked out.
The rooms are on the smaller side.
They do not have cots for babies.
Loved our stay. Would stay again

Food served in the hotel traditional Polish food which we love!
Not too far from the Old Town and Kazimierz.
Artistic climate & experience
Meriniuon 21/09/2015 21:32Located in a building rebuilt on the site of an old synagogue, so not too atractive on the outside. Inside lots of paintings, graphics, sculpture, pictures old and new. The combination of the old and modern art gives the place its unique climate. The room was basic but it did not matter (1 night and all day out) given an extraordinary eating hall with old furniture, carpets and filled with art - old and new. Made an impression of family run place without excessive fuss around polite pleasing the client but service was very friendly and personal (breakfast:) Highly recommend for Jewish Kazimierz district experince. Worst place. ...do dusty and dirty...
bradley kon 23/05/2015 12:17Yes it's in a good location but that's it. Anyone who leaves a good review at this place has never stayed at a nice hotel...the bed isn't a bed....it's a 1 inch mattress/pillow on a hard surface. ...towels are small....the pillows in the room are horrible...no complimentary coffee or tea in the room...they advertise they ha email advertise restaurant...that's false...there is no restaurant. .they have a parking lot that's fits 4 cars tightly....it's on a street where people park on both sides of the street so it becomes very narrow and it's two way.....if you stay at this hotel you will regret it...I was supposed to stay for 5 nights...I left after two and went to the galaxy hotel....loved it....I also stayed at the Radisson and that's pretty good...DO NOT STAY AT ALEX HOTEL.....dusty dirty
