1.Service was great. Everyone was helpful and provided good advice.
2. Location was good. On a quiet street next to food(just ask where to eat. some places are not that good)
Metro was 10min walk. River was 15min. 2hr walk to the Effiel tower, 30min to Notre dame . Close enough to get to everything by Metro.
3. Family room is the converted attic. Gives it some charactor as long as you watch your head around the old beams. Otherwise 5 beds and plenty of room for the kids and luggage. No fridge or microwave. Coffee.
4. Breakfast, Cereal, ham, eggs and sausage Friendly morning staff.
5. Room prices seem to changes a few times each day. Best to call and then shop online for the best price.
Overall would come back again.
Great value for money!
Ayan_On_Roadon 03/05/2017 12:01Absolute value for money. We paid for a double bed. Was initially put in twin one but was moved to a double as soon as I told them. Good toilet with ample hot water and working shower. Very Small room, decent WiFi. Very short walk to gare du Lyon and quai de la rapee. Very safe area, rare for affordable rooms in Paris. Lot of cheap eateries around with late night ones. Tried the Japanese restaurant on the street as well, good food. A very nice bakery at the entrance of the street towards gare du Lyon. Didn't have breakfast at the hotel, looked expensive. They can work on a proper luggage storage for guests, rather than putting up a "we are not responsible for luggage". Our bags were fine. One could say the walls were thin, but that didn't bother me.
Nice & close to Gare de Lyon TGV/RER/Metro Station
Scott Lon 07/04/2017 20:50This hotel was a pleasant surprise! It is a couple of easy blocks from the Gare de Lyon TGV/RER/Metro Station. It is also only a few block walk to the Bastille monument as well. The front desk was bilingual, very helpful, friendly and courteous. Our room was on the top floor (5th floor) and had five full beds for larger families (the two in the middle of the room were pushed together, and we used the fifth bed for storage of luggage. There are two grocery stores within a block of the hotel which made breakfast easy, but the room did not have a fridge so we were unable to store items that needed to be kept cold. I would absolutely stay here again!
In a sea of hotels in this area the staff is the best
4TTdotMEon 07/02/2017 09:44Where do I start? Angelo, Antonietta, Amin, and then Alex. The staff is epic. Usually, you like the night person and not the morning person or vice-versa. But if you see this team like a relay, they would beat everyone because they change off with the same attitude. The rooms are brilliant with a desk (in this room) to type this review. I will say this, and it's impressive, they know the importance of a review and they ask for it on here like your local resto would.....waiting until you show them a sign of contentment and marketing kicks in. This is my favorite hotel in Paris. Stay here but your challenge is to get Antonietta to smile. Ask all four how they are doing for me?
Great Location!
malbellaon 24/01/2017 08:46Gwendaline was so helpful!. Rooms are small but we are perfectly fine with that. Bathroom is spacious. If I can still recall my room no was 206, the windows are facing the alley street. And at least 4 halal restaurants nearby. Would love to stay here again!
