Neither here nor there
shyamu240on 03/07/2017 11:24Stayed at the hotel for safaris in Ranthambore National Park. The experience was so so, to say the least.
The hotel has 2 sections and we had stayed in the one which has a multistorey building and houses the dining area etc. Our particular room was small with very basic amenities. The toilets were poorly maintained. The resort management does not seem to have any idea of what constitutes basic comfort and nor seem concerned about it.
The food was moderate quality and definitely not worth the price. Cleanliness standards were rather poor.
The hotel is situated in Sawai Madhopur town so you miss the ambience of the forest and get only the poor infrastructure of the town. You can consider proximity to the railway station as the only advantage.
The staff was reasonably courteous but lack training & professionalism.
OK for a one time stay.
Uncomfortable and overpriced
ALeafOnTheWindon 27/05/2017 12:12The hotel is easy to find and our room had plenty of space.
The bed was lumpy and uncomfortable, but cool thanks to the A/C. While the room was alright, the bathroom was abysmal.
The bathroom was large and open. By open I mean that the shower was simply a shower head on the wall with no distinct shower area. We were provided one hand towel, no other towels. The one half-sized roll of toilet paper was not placed on the toilet paper holder. It was never restocked during our multi-day stay. They provided a gross bar of soap and two packets of shampoo. The screen in the window meant that the bathroom door must be closed to keep the A/C in the bedroom. This also meant the bathroom was over 40 degrees C all the time.
Our room was never cleaned. The door is locked with a padlock. If one person wants to stay in the room they can either be locked inside or must be awake to let the other person in and out. This can be a safety issue in case of emergency.
One staff member was nice to us. Others came to knock on our door at all hours about trivial things.
Would not recommend to anyone I know. The tigers in the park are worth seeing, but there must be a better hotel option.
Train from Jaipur was a breeze. The roads are rough and I much preferred the train out over the car ride into the area.
“Pathetic food and very unprofessional staff”
Sunny Son 25/05/2017 10:30Arrogant front office staff Specially Mr. Monty Meena highly unprofessional, no manners, no etiquette. Stinky bathrooms and lots of mosquito. Even drinking water we had to fill ourselves from the restaurant. Their staff is very arrogant and doesn't help customers for anything. Will never recommend this Resort to anyone. Avoid if possible!
Nice stay here
Beck Son 29/04/2017 09:53We stayed here in April 2017. Unfortunately, we were about 3 hours late getting in thanks to the train service. The manager was helpful and assisted us with the use of his phone when we had to have conversations with our New Delhi travel agent. Our room was nice and clean and overall was a comfortable stay. Wi-fi was a little patchy in the room and there was better signal in the lobby. Located in a good spot. We stayed in a few places in India; and this was definitely one of the cleanest ones. Nice to have clean sheets and the restaurant served us lovely food. Restaurant staff very attentive & friendly.
Budget Resort
rahuljasrotiaon 25/04/2017 09:51Budget Hotel with less facilities, room and restaurant services was poor, although food was good, pool was not so good as looks in the pictures, only few cars park inside, my car was outside the resort whole night and i was really worried about that, 3 stars from my side.
