Best option in Rameswaram

Hotel Brindavan is not a great hotel but the best option in Rameswaram. It is little far from railway station BUT walking distance from the main temple, the beach and bus stand. Rooms are fine with all required facilities. Lift available. NO restaurant at the hotel but numerous small restaurants are present near the temple.
It is quite affordable. The hotel manager will provide you all sorts of information required.

Stayed at Brindavan Residency for a short visit to darshan of shri Ramnathswamy temple popularly known as Rameshwaram temple

Had a wonderful Darshan

This hotel is a budget category with decent rooms and very courteous front desk
No restaurant but eating places are nearby
My recommendation for good stay

I have visited many places around India, This is not a great hotel by its appearance or ambiance. But what make it special is the support they are providing, not only to me, for all the persons who stayed there. I watched the front desk many time, the people whoever present there kindly guide the people about rameshwaram and their other queries too. Most interestingly the support staff were working like "fire" whatever we ask whatever possible thing they finish it immediately. I was amazed by their behaviour. Apart from that, quiet decent budget+ hotel. A perfect stay for people who visit rameshwaram.

My experience of services by Brindavan Residency staff started when I wrote inquiry e-mail. Within, couple of hours I got detailed response to all of my queries. First impression was good ..

After talking to the staff over the phone, I transferred the booking amount using net banking. Again, within 2 hours, without having to make follow-up calls, transaction & booking confirmation e-mail had reached my inbox. A pleasant surprise ..

I took TNSTC bus from Madurai to Rameshwarm which dropped us to Rameshwaram bus stand. No sooner had auto drivers stormed to us than we got down from the bus. INR 100 is the fare for 3-4 KM ride. Glimpses of Ramnathswamy temple can be seen en route to hotel.

Hotel is next to Agni Teertham near to city bus terminus. Temple is at walking distance. Location is convenient.

Room on 3rd floor was reserved for me, however, I took a peek into 2nd and 1st floor rooms. Then I realized that choice made for me by the staff was better. See view from one window and temple view from the other. All good.

Check-In process was quick. After checking in, everything in the room was in place. We did not call staff seeking something.

Special mention …. Mr. Anand guided us to good eateries and to modes of transportation to Dhanushkodi. He was very co-operative, caring and is ready for any query from clients.

After hassle-free billing, we checked out with satisfying feeling. Auto and city buses are available from hotel to reach bus stand. Constructive feedback to Brindavan Residency is to accept card payments at the hotel. Rest everything is great.

Very nice and co operative staff, very near to shore and East gopuram. Rooms are excellent in all aspects.Car parking in front of the hotel is another added advantage.Value for money.Nice memorable stay at Brindavan Residency.
