Typical 3 star hotel

I stayed her with 7 others for 2 nights, 4 I each room. The hotel staff were very friendly and the rooms we ok. The hotel is only 5 minutes away from the town. If I was going to Dordrecht for a few days I would use this hotel again.

Charming hotel in a nice part of town with friendly staff

The Hotel Dordrecht has a lot of charm, very spacious rooms, friendly staff. I was not convinced when i arrived as the decor is quite old fashion but it grew on me and I could have stayed another night if given the opportunity in the end. It is centrally located, a few minutes away from this beautiful town.

Good value for money. No great luxury, but nothing wrong with the hotel either.

Spend two nights here for business. I looked for one of the cheaper hotels, so my expectations were not high. But this hotel has everything I wanted for some nights sleep. Reserved parking space on a private lot. TV with more channels than you can browse through on a night. A mini-bar that I unfortunately could not resist. Excellent service and a no-nonsense approach. I see some people here complaining about the lack of an airco, but in November that is not an issue. I was in the building behind the main house, which means no sound of the road at all. The room is rather small and the facilities are the basics of what you'd expect in a hotel. I could make coffee in my room, have a shower or a bath. Ironing board was in the corridor. Everything was working and everything was clean. And the free wifi was always available and fast too.
I can't judge the breakfast, because I didn't have it.

Smoke

I read it somewhere else but, sadly, not until I'd booked - the hotel absolutely stinks of cigarette smoke.

It's true I'm anti-smoking and I'm quite sensitive to smoke, but I can taste the cigarette smoke as I've woken again this morning.

The building is lovely, the location is good - the rooms are spacious and comfortable - the breakfast yesterday was good and plentiful.

But the smoke means I will never return. It really is completely unacceptable to be subjected to this in the modern era.

Excellent hotel

This hotel is very very good and I can't compliment it enough . The reception staff very friendly and efficient , the room very comfortable and quiet . The temperature for the three days we were there were high but the room had an airconditioning unit which cooled the room efficiently . Breakfast was good , better than one normally gets on the continent in hotels and plenty of parking for the car .
Dordrecht is a lovely place to visit and this hotel is in easy walking distance from the harbour area and old town with good cafes and restaurants .
I thoughtfully recommend both the city and hotel .
