Fine rooms, good service throughout.
The bar had a large selection of beers, and a remarkable vanity of whiskeys.
Knowledgeable bar staff helped ensure a great evening.

Service was excellent, and the food was a really high quality.
Excellent choice on the kids menu, and good flexibility between a la Carte and fixed menu's
The octopus starter was absolutely delicious.
The only downside is parking. On street parking is expensive Monday to Saturday as sparse. Car parks are quite far away - just plan parking ahead of time in case you can't get a roadside spot.
All in all the food and experience was excellent value - 4 adults and 2 kids managed to eat and drink (red and white wine included) for under £25 per head - inc tip
Would recommend and return.
Fantastic, wonderful stay
merrill kon 05/08/2017 14:02From the moment we arrived we had such a wonderful time, we have always wanted to visit this hotel and now can't wait to come back again..the staff were so helpful and knowledgeable, they really couldn't be any m re helpful. Our room was the cinema suite and it couldn't be anymore surprising..really was a great room ..such a lovely thought-out room, we visited the restaurant on our stay for dinner, again what a delight , food was brilliant again matched with great service.
We couldn't recommend this place enough.
It was a wedding anniversary that couldn't of been any better.
Not up to scratch
Stanley Bon 04/08/2017 15:56We arrived mid morning ,not expecting to have a room ready but were delighted to learn that ,in fact, our room was available.A rather long journey up a number of flights of stairs to our allotted room , open the door only to find the room occupied ,very embarrassing.Back down all the stairs to reception with our bags ,no one could understand that this could happen, 45 minute wait and another room was found for us.Now we were up in what I would imagine was the attic in years past ,smell of damp from an inadequately ventilated shower and a toilet that leaked over the floor.Not what I expect from this class of hotel

Lisa Ton 02/08/2017 15:39Another lovely time at the hotel. Room spotless and up in the attic so very quiet. Staff as always were very helpful. Bar downstairs is great and the waitress last night was lovely. Delicious breakfast. Would highly recommend.
