Great Skiing Holiday
Ramsay Mon 11/04/2017 20:41We were there for one week. Nice size hotel for a family - good room very clean and comfortable. Great food ( half board) and good spa facilities - Steam room, Jacuzzi and Sauna (as well as solarium). Good location in lovely village. Dinner was a real feature - superb local dishes and great variety/quality.Very enjoyable.
Fabulous cuisine
Foodies28on 13/03/2017 18:53What a treasure perfect for skiing - not far from main lift and a very friendly atmosphere. The spa facilities are perfect to unwind after a day on the slopes, but the best is the food quality, consistently high each day and each time we stay.
Stay here and please eat-in !! Enjoy
Thank you once again for a wonderful holiday!
martinbraddockon 12/03/2017 19:29Just returned from our annual one week skiing holiday with my brother, returning to Solden and the Hotel Erhart which we last stayed at in 2015. The whole team at the Erhart work exceptionally hard to ensure that you have a good and very relaxing stay. Benjamin and his team in the kitchen produced some of the best, if not the best food I have ever had on holiday either skiing or with my family, complemented by a carefully chosen wine selection. The hotel is well situated for the Galaiskogl gondola (10 minute walk there.....a little longer back at the end of the day) and being set back from the main road has little traffic. The hotel also has a very well appointed steam room, sauna, whirlpool and fitness room so plenty of ways to relax before dinner. Our room was again very comfortable and spotlessly clean. Taken together we could not have wished for a better holiday from a more welcoming team and I am sure we will return as skiing in Solden and Obergurgl are well renowned.

Warm staff, imaginative food and homely stay
Maccs Pon 04/03/2017 23:30I echo lots of the highly rated reviews. In particular, the evening meals were all imaginative and varied without being too flouncy. A large selection of food was locally sourced too. Breakfast was equally satisfying. Delights included12 types of honey, a truly bountiful cheese offering, a variety of tea leaves, tea bags and every conceivable type of coffee, large range of cured and cooked meats and lovely salads, cereals and breads. The staff were all helpful and genuinely smiley.
I particularly liked the lack of regiment re eating times that you get with catered chalets, the flexibility to choose how many courses to eat each evening and a choice of dishes.
Very pleasant stay.
Richard254on 16/01/2017 11:07Very pleasant, traditionally styled, family run, 28 room hotel on the peaceful side of the Sölden valley. Very helpful and welcoming people. Exceptionally good food, much of it innovative, and an extraordinary selection of cheeses (see the drawers underneath the serving top too). Wine selection good, at reasonable prices. Bottled water notably expensive. Nice big bedroom with mountain views and access to a shared balcony. All clean and well kept. Approximately 10 minutes walk to the Giggijoch lift area (we left our skis and boots at the helpful and efficient Sunup hire shop there each evening) or a similar walk to the other main lift in the other direction. Maybe a little faster to cross to the main road and catch the ski bus especially if you use the hotel's ski-room and are wearing ski boots. The hotel's spa area is OK but limited. However on request at reception you can have a daily pass giving free entry to the town's leisure centre, where there is a lovely pool and for an additional 8 Euros per person you can also use the larger sauna area. Alternatively, 20 minutes away by bus, there's the extraordinary Längerfeld Aqua Dome. Good snow during our week in Sölden and lots of variety on the slopes with long reds and broad blues. The black runs we encountered would have been red elsewhere.
