One of the best hotels in Patnitop
Tania Son 27/07/2017 18:48It is an amazing place to spend the weekend. The facilities are good and the place has an overall peaceful ambience. Probably because the rooms are so cozy. I had no complains as such. The service is good too. Each time I called the room service for something, I got a quick and good response. Great place. :)

Poor rating
Meenakshi Son 31/05/2017 12:39we have recently visited Patnitop and stayed at this hotel. The only good thing about the hotel is its food and location. Rooms are very dingy, Staff is not cooperative at all. most of staff members were not very educated. I don't advise anyone to stay here as it is a total waste of money. look for another one, Sir.
Good Hotel
Rajjadhav77on 29/05/2016 08:07We stayed here with our family group of 14 members..
Our stay was excellent. Rooms are recently renovated. Furniture, cleanliness and views are excellent. Location of the Hotel is perfect. You will have many options for wondering around.
Resto and Bar is located at basement. For family they arranges the dinner in lobby. Free Wi-Fi although speed is low.
Only concern is about prices of foods; these are very high. and they do not accept card payment.
If you are travel plan is Jammu to Srinagar then this is must stay option. It avoids one day long journey from Jammu to Srinagar. Next day you start early from Patnitop and reach your destination approx. 3 hrs early.
Average property, decent location
shoucheson 11/04/2016 17:48We had to spend an extra day at Patnitop in March 2016 due to a highway closure. As we were looking for a place to stay and did not have a booking, we walked into Jai Shree.
Jai Shree has a good location, right in front of the JKTDC huts and park. There are some nice walks and treks in the neighborhood to spend your time. The rooms are big and the staff does a sincere job to help.
There are 2 or 3 things that suck about this place. The flooring is ceramic and it gets really cold. When we visited, electricity was out for the entire day and the hotel switched on gensets very sparingly, leaving the guests at the mercy of candles for lighting during the night.
The food is OK, though nothing to write home about. If you get a decent deal and only want to spend a short amount of time, go for this.
