Gross and overrated
Emi Ion 25/06/2017 03:09I had a one night stay in the jal city hotel and let me just say first impressions a bit small but meh.
After further inspecting the room I found hairs from other people all over the bathroom one in particular came with a razor cap. That was in the shower. Ewww
There is also a large amount of dust behind the tv and in the curtains and the price you pay to get hairs everywhere is $150 ding dong dollars a night. The tv was also noticeably old. I also found random boogers around the room.
Claustrophobic Beware
simply_tyoon 25/05/2017 16:35Downside: very tiny room, a bed fit for a smurf, they only give you one smal pillow to sleep with, no mineral water or complimentary items whatsoever, lousy interior, no decent chanel on tv, the staffs were cold and only spoke minor english
Pros: at least its clean, the bathroom was okay, good wifi, breakfast wan't so bad, and the location quite center in chinatown

plkeystoneon 06/04/2017 10:25Room. Tiny, no English at all bathroom only big enough to swing a cat. Ac would not work equal to Red Roof inn. No safe in room . Tried to call front desk for help and eventually went down ourselves. No water to drink. No phone next to bed.
A comfortable hotel in the Chinatown of Nagasaki
Maria Don 18/03/2017 15:18This is a comfortable hotel, with clean rooms and a well equipped bath and good amenities. The building faces a parking, so do not expect a special view. The hotel has a Sichuan style Chinese restaurant named Tohen at the second floor. Although they have only Japanese menu and the staff do not speak much English, they are very friendly and helpful. I had for dinner the most amazing mapo tofu I have ever tried. It arrived sizzling hot in a ceramic pot. The beef was very spicy and the tofu was amazingly creamy. The breakfast is also very good, with Japanese and Chinese dishes and also continental breakfast items. The hotel is in the dowtown of Nagasaki, right in the small but lively Chinatown (Shinchi-machi). The area has many shops, restaurants, museums and Buddhist temples to visit.
Nice hotel, well with the money
RagnarKHon 05/09/2016 19:22Nice clean hotel with wonderful staff. The rooms was good but I think the bed was too hard. Breakfast was surprisingly good. I have had stays in Japan where breakfast was a tragedy. Dinner and lunch at the hotel was also a pleasant experience. Highly recommendable.
