What People are saying

Near JR Sendai Train Station, but a little complicated to walk to

Chuzaaon 08/05/2017 17:45

This is a relatively small hotel near JR Sendai Railway Station. It takes about five minutes on foot from the main area of the train station if you are not lost (and very likely to get lost). When we arrived at JR Sendai station, it was raining very hard. So, we tried to go through the connecting buildings and that made the route way too complicated. I recommend that you simply get out to the west exit of JR Sendai Station and walk to the north to the first intersection and then walk to the east. This is the most straightforward way.

Our room (a non-smoking double room, 21 square meters) was not a large room, but everything was relatively new and quite comfortable. Wi-Fi reception was very good. We spent JPY22,000 for two nights with buffet breakfast. It was a good deal available for people who are older than 50 years of age.

Though the hotel appeared to have a decent Japanese restaurant and a café that offers non-Japanese meals, as we wanted to venture out to the city we skipped them and walked five minutes to the west to one very busy area where you can find quite a range of food options. The breakfast buffet at the hotel was basic with a range of reasonably good Japanese and relatively poor Western options. It was already boring on the second morning.

Close to transportation

You cant beat the location. 5 minute walk to the train station/ bus station.
Its a basic business hotel. It might be a little tight for 2 people. For me it was perfect, I didn't spend much time in the room. Just a place to sleep. It was clean and the staff were very helpful and polite.

For visiting Sendai and its neighbourhood

nakajimahon 31/10/2015 16:41

The hotel, located close to the JR Sendai station and bus terminals, is a good starting point for visiting Sendai and its neighbourhood, Matsushima for example. I personally visited Matsushima, Hiraizumi, Yamadera in addition to Sendai spots. Clearly the hotel is not first class one. You do not expect more as the room rates are reasonable. The double bed room with a unit bath room is rather tiny but clean. My room, viewed to the railways, was noisy during train passings. It is a very nice view point for looking at Tohoku shinkansen trains entering to (and outgoing from) the Sendai station. For the viking type breakfast, you may taste local dishes and curry with "gyu-tan" (beef curry).

A bit better than the average Japanese business hotel

Corina Son 10/10/2015 03:16

The good:
1. 4 minutes walking from the station. In case it rains you can get to the hotel without getting wet.
2. The bathroom is great. New appliances and several amenities. However, they don't have cotton pads and face lotion for ladies.
3.The decor is done with taste.
4. they have a press machine for your suit.

The not so good.
1. It is a bit small. The usual for Japanese business hotels.
2. You can't open the window.
3.No iron to easily give your crumpled shirts a better look.

Basic but comfortable and convenient

This is a standard business hotel with no pretense. It is very conveniently located near the station and connected with a walkways. The rooms are standard for this type of hotel and are quiet. Good staff and overall comfortable for one night.
