Perhaps the best alternative to downtown Hamburg
Biplab K Don 10/12/2016 22:26Less than half an hour from downtown Hamburg, this is an ideal place to stay for those visiting Hamburg by private car. The hotel, in this quaint little town, is located centrally, offers ample parking within its own property, serves excellent breakfast - and most of all, the rooms are clean and well appointed.
Good hotel for a stay on your way
Dorothea Hon 26/03/2016 22:13A nice room, comfortable beds, a modern bathroom with a spacy shower. We had a room at the front. The street is quite busy, but the windows shut out most of the noise. If you use to sleep with an open window you have to be prepared for disturbing traffic sounds. Maybe we should have used the air condition :) (which we unfortunately found only in the morning). Great breakfast in a nice breakfast room. Service is good. The reception desk was closed for the night when we arrived, but everything was prepared well for us, easy to find everything we needed. I'd like to stay here again.
Charming and practical hotel near Hamburg
PauldJFon 26/05/2015 18:38We spent two nights at this comfortable and clean hotel. Large rooms, plentiful breakfast buffet, good parking and overall very welcoming. The hotel gave us a good tip for dinner over the road. Rooms were quite bright at there were no blinds on the windows, otherwise everything was perfect.
Simple and average hotel
Tom Con 22/07/2014 20:37Stayed here 1 night for a business trip as the regular hotel in this neighborhood was fully booked.
Room was OK, no soap in the shower, bed was OK and had a decent pillow (unlike most other German hotels), breakfast was OK, but nothing special. One plus for the free Nespresso in the lobby.
Due to the temperature (around 25-30 degrees) and lack of airconditioning the window had to be opened which caused a lot of noise during sleep. Internet was a drag and almost impossible to do any work (just emailing). I'll try to avoid it next time.

Diddicoyon 03/04/2013 20:07Great to find a hotel with decent sized rooms and shower rooms! Lovely crisp, white linen on the beds. Rooms at front can have traffic noise from 6am but OK in evening and at night. Free wi-fi is always a plus. Good breakfast with cooked and continental available from 6.30am. Walking distance to some restaurants. In all likelihood you require a car to stay here
