Gunilla Won 06/07/2017 14:29Beautiful interior, super friendly and extremely service minded staff. The restaurant in the basement serves fantastic food at reasonable prizes and in a good atmosphere. Close to both bus stations, restaurants and ski shops. The rooms were ok, pretty small but we can still highly recommend this hotel!!
Great place to stay!!
Reuben Bon 26/04/2017 22:27I had a great stay at hotel Kandahar. The hotel is in a perfect location in the middle of the town, and in walking distance to the lifts. They upgraded me to a suite on arrival and were able to cater for an early check in. Great complementary breakfast each morning to fuel for the day ahead. Each room gets locker facilities to store ski's etc which makes the end of day process super easy.
Great hotel in center of Val
Magnus Ron 12/03/2017 06:49Stayed at hotel Kandahar for a ski week. Perfect location in the center of Val d´Isère, a few minutes walk to the lifts and a shuttle stop very close. The staff was great and helpful. Cosy atmosphere and good breakfast buffet! I will definitely stay at this hotel again.

LindsayJacqueson 03/03/2017 18:19We could not have been happier with this hotel. The staff were so friendly and helpful. On arrival the receptionist could not have been more helpful and charming. The newly renovated hotel looks great and has a lovely atmosphere, made all the better by the wonderful staff. Neither of our bedrooms were renovated but we still liked them. They were spotlessly clean and quiet (no noise issues at all) and we liked the chalet style charm. We went for the half board option, and this was a good choice. The food was fabulous, and we all looked forward to dinner each evening. The 3 course meal was always delicious and good quality ingredients. Again, we have to compliment the restaurant staff who went out of their way to make us feel welcome and provide everything we needed. The portions were very generous - you won't go hungry!! We also found that this was a great option with 2 tired boys at the end of the day - rather than having to choose a restaurant each night and find a free table as they were all very busy. We will definitely go back to Hotel Kandahar next year. A great stay. Thank you

marymtmxon 08/02/2017 01:15We loved this hotel! The location was prime. Staff could not have been more helpful or nicer. The rooms were well done with comfortable beds. Bathrooms were furnished with toiletries. The food was beyond expectation. We felt fortunate to stay in this hotel and would do it again if we are ever so fortunate to return to Val d'Isere.
