Great hotel, great facilities and great restaurants/food!
The ski in and ski out is obviously cool and the rooms are really cost with the wooden furniture and walls. Well designed.
We also liked the private taxis picking you up from and bringing you to wherever you want in Val Tho!
Friendly service was an added bonus

This really covered everyone from the ski room staff to reception and restaurants. They seemed genuinely pleased to help and always greeted us with a smile. The icing on the cake as the hotel facilities are great.
Such a shame
Jon Con 30/04/2017 22:55Was going to write a very glowing review until the hotel charged me €150 after we'd left and now ignoring emails and calls. This is after messing up the bill on check as well. Check your bills folks! Such a shame.
Very Bad Experince
javner_657396on 25/04/2017 12:06Very Bad experience. 1. The road to the slopes was not maintained, so you have to carry your skis through a muddy road.( I have observed the road of Club Med...) 2. There was no TV for 2 day, and when the TV was back there were only French channels . No CNN BBC or any English channels. 3. I have mentioned the room which is not comfortable . 4 A party for the ski people of the village was held one night . Load music disturbed our sleep until 02:00! The director in charge was very inpolite and aggressive. Val thornes is a great place for Ski Vacation. The slopes are wonderful and the weather was great.

brian hon 24/04/2017 12:40Staff very helpful and kind, especially in the ski shop. Lovely hotel, very comfortable and relaxed, beautiful location. Food in 2 of 3 restaurants was good. Spa facilities excellent. I would definitely return to stay here for a ski trip as would rest of my family
