What People are saying

Terrible food for too much money

Bert Mon 12/03/2017 14:26

we stopped over for lunch. My wife , 2 kids and myself. the service was polite but slow. the food itself was way overpriced and the quality of the fish was poor. there are much better places just around the corner

Weekend Break

My Partner took me away for a birthday treat, hes normally really good and checks reviews and amenities but this time he messed up 'BIG TIME!' there was no parking, the hotel smelt, there was no kettle in our room to make hot drinks, the view out of the window was the fire escape and the breakfast was average. only plus side was the bed was very comfortable and surrounding amenities were brilliant, if only he had chosen a different hotel.

Pepe le Pew would love it.

I'm not going to waste much time on this place. Sorry to strongly disagree with the guy on the desk but the hotel does smell. The corridor carpets were major unclean. The bathroom was obviously new and no problems there. If I had swung the proverbial cat around my head in the main room, I would have given it brain damage, it was so small. The wall at the end of the bed was where the television was, and was badly scuffed. The wires from the television just hung down.
The breakfast had to be about the most scant that I have ever been subjected to. Very little to choose from and no imagination was spared.
Oh, they did provide a hair drier that was supposedly included, but we had to ask at reception for it.
Another question. This place was far from full, but they put us in a room next to a generator or something that makes a fair bit of noise all night. Why, if you have other rooms?
No hotel parking.
In all honesty, we have previously stayed at the Royal, which is only a few metres away. I recommend if you are going to stay in this area that you stay there rather than this place.

Avoid at all cost

So we booked late, didn't have a lot of choice, but the closet comparison to a hotel I can recall was in Thailand for 2 dollars. This cost 190 euros. Disgusting is the only polite word I can use. Stay away. Smells bad, looks bad, is bad. Depressing, dirty, dark, damp, disgusting

not good enough for that price

Though the room was spacious and with a new bathroom, this hotel is not worth the prices charged. We had a room on the frontside and that was terribly hot and noisy.
Breakfast could be called "continental", one could also say "poor".
We won't go back....
