Good ......but should've been better

Publicised as a 3 star plus hotel but really only worth a 2 star plus! Hotel itself was very good, modern airy and very clean but lacked the final touches to make it a 3 star plus. Room safe was extra, room fridge was extra, no drawers for clothes storage in the room and no tea/coffee making facilities! We were advised to get hot water from the hot tap in the bathroom...eeeewe! Or, from the bar. So we had to resort to asking fir a tea pot with hot water from the bar every time we wanted a hot drink in our room....and received very strange looks from the bar staff!
Soft drinks were only available in bottles, not from a drinks dispenser and two small ones cost the same as a large beer - 25 Kuna (about £3).
There was a 'no reserving sunbeds' policy but nothing was done about it and mostly beds had towels on by 7.30am!!
A nice resort with several 'Laguna' hotels set in woodland and connected to Porec by Tourist Landtrain or Boat with a couple of local 'beach bars' but plenty of restaurants in the town.

Family holiday for 8

Just back from a 1 week stay at this hotel and very impressed. Modern, clean with good facilities. Varied menu so something for everyone. Only a 10-15 minute walk to Porec through the wooded park or get the little tourist train for 20 kunas from the front of the hotel or a few minutes walk from the rear of hotel to Brulo beach and then it's only 10 kunas.

Nice hotel

The hotel is spotlessly clean and the staff were all very friendly and take pride in their work. The food was good and your never going to starve given the eat as much as you can buffet style restaurant. My only gripe was that mealtimes could be really chaotic especially early on for your evening meal we found if you left eating in till 8pm it was a much more enjoyable experience.

Great holiday

Just spent 2 weeks here & found little to fault. Room was very clean & comfortable, staff mostly all friendly, good standard of food. I am a very fussy eater & I never struggled to find something. Lovely area to sit in during evenings. Nearby to lots of amenities. Only complaint was the uncomfortable sun loungers!!! If you plan on spending any time at the pool you will need to buy the cushions!

Never Again

We have just returned from a weeks holiday at this hotel. Firstly will start by saying that the hotel is very clean, modern and fresh. We paid to upgrade our room to sea view which we feel was well worth the extra £56 but it is more a pool view than sea view. Balcony nice with flowers can be a little noisy at night with the entertainment but didn't bother us. The room was fine, very comfy beds and brilliant shower. The cleaners did an amazing job too. The food and wine in the restaurant was lovely and always something for everyone and also the restaurant staff do an amazing job. We found it very tedious the amount of people that qued up ready for the doors to open at 6.30pm we only did it because we have a 13 month old baby who was well ready for her tea, as she needed to get in there to beat the ques to get her some food before it got too busy. The queing was ridiculous and was like people had never been fed which is a shame as the restaurant is nice with table cloths and set out beautifully.
The main thing that spoilt this hotel for us especially as a family of four with a baby was the swimming pool was absolutely freezing cold and the baby pool is the same. I can't believe no one has mentioned this in other reviews I know the swimming pools can be cold when you get in but this was extreme, as our baby girl could not go in as she just screamed and divered. The sea was warmer which she went in with no problem. Lastly I am aware that alot of other people have complained about all the stairs but this is very true which wouldn't have been a problem for us but having a pram it became very tiring by the end of the week.
