NYTraveller54on 01/09/2015 21:49Here I am back on a late-summer raid in beloved Cote D'Azur. First stop Cannes, and, mindful of past stay in, and good review here of, Le Mistral, I booked it, after some deliberation. Same amazing quality/price/location ratio, same super-kind staff, same very careful cleanness. Only negative: Noise in the morning. True, the hotel can't be held totally accountable for checking-outers rude inconsiderate loud behavior, but, hey, what you are basically buying, in a hotel, is: a) Your staying there, and, b) Your sleep there. Second item of your bargained-for transaction should never be overlooked by an attentive management.
Excellent hotel, great price, outstanding staff
on 23/07/2015 08:37The boutique hotel was in the most amazing location, just steps away from the beach and Palais du Festival. Rooms were basic with everything you need, but I was astonished at how low the price was once I saw the location and facility.
More importantly, I have never felt more welcomed in a hotel than by Laurent, Florentine and the rest of the staff. We had a large group and rented out the entire hotel, and the staff truly went out of their way to make us feel at home. They helped us choose activities, restaurants, and even let us use the entire lobby at night to socialize. This staff deserves an A+++ for their hospitality and are amazingly kind and generous people. Thank you again for an amazing stay in Cannes, I hope we will be back again!!
Very central
John Son 16/07/2015 13:27this is a great economy place to stay in Cannes, very central to everything... The rooms are small like everywhere, but it's clean and friendly, I'd use it again for sure, it's good value for money...
Great location at a brilliant price
Offpistetravellingon 05/09/2014 11:22A gem in an otherwise price inflated city. We have used this hotel on numerous occasions because its perfect location at very basic prices. If you want the glitz and glamour of the city and all the trimmings at a hotel then this is not the one but if you're after a great base, clean modern rooms and a good level if service then hotel mistral won't disappoint.
Great location, very clean but
Gabzee158on 26/06/2014 21:58We booked for a double bed and we had 2 different mattresses instead than one, on a double bed. For this class of hotel it was pretty disappointing. Such a shame as the room is lovely, brand new bathroom and perfect location. I can recommended it if you are not a cuddly couple ;) Service was great, the lady let us leave our bags all day in the lobby and we could even get changed in the spare toilets in the afternoon after the beach, even if we didn't had a room booked for that night.
