Basic hotel ,with very large rooms
Faxpaton 22/04/2017 03:21Nice hotel, with lovely staff. Its right beside the rail line, which is handy for getting into Cologne City Center, but means you have the noise of the trains running all night, its a light rail system, which means it's not that loud, but could be a nuisance if you are a light sleeper. The area its in is a bit dreary with not a lot to do.
Overpriced

The rooms are spacious and clean, however it is very impersonal with now warmth. The room offers no fridge; the walls are hospital white and everything else is grey laminated wood.
The hotel is in a dodgy area, but on the flipside, it is close to the train station.
For a 3 star hotel, it is okay, nothing special, but I have stayed in much nicer hotels (also in the region), for much cheaper.
Everything is clean, the wifi works, its not too far from the airport; but it looks like a 1970's laboratory and not a room. It would be perfectly acceptable at under Eur70.
They claim to have soundproof windows, but it is very noisy despite the window being closed.
Very good hotel, very handy location
Kostas-Liakoon 26/10/2015 14:51The hotel is very good and value for the money. Its not in the city centre but its extremely easy to access from the airport and the city centre. The is a bus from airport that goes literally outside the hotel and there is shuttle to the city centre. Also the breakfast was really good
Nice and close to train and town
Mybloodhoundon 22/08/2015 02:18Without A/C this hotel is very HOT during the summer. Doors face west and catch ALL the late setting sun, making the rooms terribly hot. In August the room was unbearable until after 10pm....staff was very nice, and organized a car for me to the airport. Town is very nice, right by the river, which was beautiful.
Great value & nice condition
Tanya_WalkingTreeon 23/03/2015 00:36Stayed for three nights in a twin room with friend for the xmas market, its 2 mins walk to tram station, about 20 mins on the tram to city center. there were restaurants, bars around it, a good place for breakfast just across the road. the room was nice and quiet. very friendly staff too, the hotel paid for the taxi from the airport.
