Nice Hotel with Helpful Staff
VLiuSydon 08/08/2017 09:55Good: Helpful staff, decent bar/restaurant, near Flegere cable car, decent renovate room (some with good mountain views)
Not so good: Far (20 min walk) from Chamonix town center, with bus every 30 mins or so but none after 8ish at night to return from meals
Chamexpress shuttle was super convenient to pickup Geneva airport and drop at hotel door (other shuttles exist I think)

SCG1234on 15/07/2017 03:18Everything about Les Lanchers was spot on! The staff - ALL the staff were super friendly and helpful. They went out of their way to make sure we had everything we requested and were happy! The room was clean, comfortable and quiet. The restaurant was really good and we looked forward to the daily specials! The wifi was strong and reliable. The management had just finished a lovely and chic remodel of the common areas shortly before our arrival. Another couple of GREAT bonuses are the bus/ski shuttle directly outside the hotel and the Le Flegere lift/resort 400m up the road. There is also a wonderful little store a block up the road. The hotel is situated just outside of Chamonix proper and is quickly and easily reached by the free shuttle that runs every 11 minutes. Great spot - will visit here again!
Friendly, comfortable convenient
Liz Pon 04/07/2017 09:50Stayed here for a couple of nights and can recommend. Rooms are comfortable and modern. Hotel is very welcoming and staff willing to help with directions etc. Bus stop into town centre is right outside hotel so we left car in car park and 'bussed' it! Restaurant serves great food and continental breakfast. This hotel is perfectly situated for a day trip up Mont Blanc.
Very friendly place to stay
mandm3944on 03/07/2017 20:36If you are looking for a friendly, flexible place to stay in Chamonix - look no further. There is plenty of car parking and it's just 6 minutes by free bus to the town centre (or a leisurely 20 minute stroll on a path by the river if you prefer). The food is exceptional and the staff all speak good English (to compensate for my poor language education in Britain). My mountaineering holiday, together with the variable Alpine weather called for flexibility in accommodation (as I spent some nights at Alpine huts) and the staff at Les Lanchers couldn't have been more understanding or accommodating at my frequent changes of plan.

davewatersonon 30/06/2017 10:45Had a great stay here last summer.all the staff were freindly and helpful.the hotel itself is in a great location the food out there restaurant was superb and there is a great atmosphere in there cosy bar.and will be looking to stay there this summer
