Very clean and cozy room, exactly the same as on the picture; very convenient location: near the gas station and big supermarket; close to the center; good attitude on the reception: kind and friendly staff.

Stopped over here last year on the way to Normandy. Welcoming receptionist on arrival - even though we were late. Nice quiet comfortable room. Good breakfast in the morning - the children enjoyed the buffet. Would use this hotel again. Only criticism is that the hotel is far from the city centre - but convenient for the ring road.

We were greeted on arrival by a very nice young man who was courteous and pleasant. The rooms were clean (not very large) but adequate. The hotel is in a nice area. After going out to eat dinner (no food available at the hotel), as there were 6 of us we decided to sit in the lounge area and have a drink rather than squash into one of our rooms, as it was a very warm evening. After perhaps 1/2 hour a rather large man came into the lounge (presumable the duty manager) with no top on and told us we could not sit in the lounge as it was closed and not licenced for drinking!! As we hadn't purchased any drink and it was a residents lounge we tried to argue but he got rather uptight and we left. For this reason I would not recommend this rather nice hotel.

Quiet hotel, great location if you don't want to stay in the center of Rennes. Room was a bit small for 4 but bathroom was spacious and newly renovated. Friendly and welcoming staff.

Once again we stayed at this excellent lodge hotel for 4 nights - my wife and I, plus a friend and his wife. It is a very well run, efficient and clean establishment. The management and staff are most welcoming, helpful and good humoured. The full continental-style breakfast is competitively priced at E8, compared to essentially the same menu at up to E12 in cities and resorts. Further, a very reasonably priced 'table d'hote' dinner menu is provided from Monday to Thursday (or maybe Friday?) evenings, subject only to reasonable notice. The dinner menus are inviting, professionally cooked, presented and served. But there are also plenty of restaurants in the locality, from the 'Buffalo Grill' style to more 'up market' establishments, available both at weekends and during the week. There is ample car parking in the secluded private grounds directly in front of the hotel. However, our only reservation continues to be that the double/twin rooms are a bit cramped and, in particular, that there is no shelf space in the small hanging cupboards. But these are comparatively insignificant aspects when compared to the many advantages, overall pleasant experience and very good value for money. This excellent lodge hotel is very strongly recomended as an ideal base for exploring Brittany.
