Nice place to stay...spacious good rooms with very good connectivity for places to visit zao...the restaurant is not so good but many small restaurants outside the hotels...staff very helpful and with proper information of places around

Location! Location! Location!

The best part of choosing the hotel is the location. It is just next to JR Yamagata station (inside the same buidling of the JR station; just go to direction of east exist and go downstairs the escalator). The service is good. There are restaurants and shopping malls in the building of station.

No one speaks English here ... so super difficult to understand anything .. they gave us coupons that we even asked abt when we arrived because of course all in Japanese and they made it seem like it was for a free drink but instead they gave us nuts that they changed us for these and for drinks as well ... someone at a main commuter hotel shd be able
To speak the international language and explain to the guest properly .

Right at the train station

A very short walk after getting off the shinkansen. A fairly large hotel with spacious, comfortable rooms. Excellent work area for those using computers. Free WIFI in the rooms. A very convenient location with easy access to the main sights of town, shopping and restaurants. Being at the train station and with a JR railpass I was able to zip around various cities for additional sight seeing. Two 24-hour Family Mart stores only ½-block away for any personal needs, snacks and inexpensive bento/noodle meals.

Very nice hotel located above Yamagata JR station.

Stayed for one night and would highly recommend this hotel. It is extremely convenient
for access to the Shinkansen and is centered in Yamagata city.
The staff were pleasant and professional and the room was spacious for a single.
The restaurant served a great dinner and the bar had a happy hour with reduced prices.
Will definitely stay here again the next time I am in Yamagata.
