Budget hotel, good location and friendly staff with potential to improve

Good clean place ideal to travel around Anuradhapura and suburbs. Spaciousness and antiquity with the helpful staff including the friendly manager kept us contented.The eastern food stuff were well prepared.
Back garden with access from room opened in to a grassy ground near the lake which had deer and peacocks in the morning. This would have been managed for better use. Good for active kids. Bathrooms were clean but renovation was welcome.

Pleasant stay on budgetary hotel in a convenient location

We stayed in this hotel for an overnight during the last visit to Anuradhapura. Thought this is a budgetary hotel, we liked the food options available with them. Room quality is average and need improvements in overall amenities and arrangements in room / bathroom.
The hotel is located in a convenient location for a traveler from Anuradhapura and Mihintale cities.

Stayed when we visited sacred city Anuradhapura last year.. This budget rest house located in a very convenient place alongside the main road in Mihintale.. Hotel is bit old but maintained in a good way.. Room was good & washrooms were clean.. Staff is helpful..

Food: was on B&B, Didn't have many options there (true, this is budget) but available food was good..

A recommended budget option in the area with value for money..

We stayed for two days in August visiting Anuradhapura and Mihintale. This is a typical Sri Lankan rest house if you wish to enjoy the experience. A good alternative to staying in Anuradhapura. Very helpful staff, made our stay pleasant. Need some maintenance.

stayed here in last june. hotel a CHC hotel and situated very close to Mihintale temple facing Anuradhapura road. Rooms are bit old but clean. staff is also very helpful and attentive. during our stay hotel was not filled with visiotors as Poyaday had already gone. they prepare meals on request and their sri lankan meals are tasty though it was with limited choices. Rooms are without telephone facilities so have to walk all the way to reception for any request. This is a great valuve for money and their service level is also very good as they are a CHC hotel
