Good location!

We were at the hotel for 3 days! Good location, very close to the old town square and to many restaurants and stores!
The room was big and fair price!

But one night we ordered one extra pillow and the reception called back saying it would not be possible because they were out of extra pillows. That was very unpleasant to hear from a hotel!
The next night we got the pillows, but that was a minus point we must say!

Excellent location with good conditions for disabled persons

I spent three days in Hotel Modra Ruze, Prague, Czech Republic with my wife and a couple of our friends in the beginning of May 2017. Hotel has an excellent location in the old town. It is very close to Wenceslas Square, Charles Bridge, Prague Astronomic Clock and other places interesting for tourists. Parking lot is just in the backyard, but has to be reserved in advance and payed separately. There are two rooms for disabled persons and my wife, who is disabled person, and I used one of them. I made a reservation for such a room in advance and it was large and very suitable. The bathroom was also big and accommodated to my wife. In the Hotel we could rent a battery-powered vehicle for my wife as a disabled person. The price for the vehicle was per day and reasonable. It helped us a lot in looking around the city. Breakfast was good and was included in the price. I can highly recommend hotel for all the tourists and especially for disabled persons.

Small hotel and a little run down but clean. Great location close to both the old town square and the new town shopping are but not really any amenities so if you can afford to stay at a better hotel do it.

Simple room standard, probably not renovated in recent years - but still good enough and clean. At first, I was offered a room without AC even though this should be included. Got after complaining about it a slightly better room with AC and about 5 meters to the ceiling. Simple but perhaps a bit more luxurious in bathroom with space and a bathtub including. Very good free wifi in the room that works for streaming. The location is amazingly good with lots of restaurants nearby but still 50m from the real tourist stream. Walking distance to what a tourist wants to see in central Prague. On the sidewalk, the hotel had an associated bar with the opportunity to drink wine, coffee or beer and eat a pastry or ice-cream. Hotel receptionists are the only ones who were less good when they did not feel so professional and they could have been young people who work extra. They had difficulty making decisions. Among other things, I could not check out 30 minutes later even though I asked one day before departure, never happened before.
I would like to stay at this hotel again because the location is very good and the rest is good enough to give a total very good review.

Everything good, rooms are good and staff is great. The bar have a great environment. Location excellent. The only negative thing is the acoustic isolation, i can ear the other guests any time they use the water for shower
