Average Experience..not so good!
Gargi_Agrawalon 03/08/2017 10:08We visited Madurai last week of July'17 and I booked two double classic rooms for my family. The hotel is at Tamil Sangam Road and its only 1 km away from Meenakshi Temple, location wise I found it good. But the rooms, hospitality, service was awful.
The height of the room is so low that you can barely touch with your hand and on top of that rooms were very damp and dark. There was no proper passage for sunlight even. bathrooms were not that clean. Room service was so slow that I had to call up at reception 2-3 times. Parking is available but its too small if there are more guests in hotel they may ask you to park outside the hotel in public parking which is unsafe.
Breakfast was complimentary but that was either stale or cold
Overall I had only one night to spend here but that too was not spent well, so keep this hotel as your last option for your visit.
A few issues but nice place
r0tt1on 31/07/2017 05:04Modern hotel with restaurant. Room clean & cosy with 3rd extra bed. Bathroom shower is passable as clean but no complimentary toiletries. Staff friendly & helpful. Wi fi worked fine until we went out and then it refused to reconnect on return. 'Hot' water was barely tepid in the evening and a/c did not cool room. Maintenance came along, removed a/c filter and washed it in our bathroom basin leaving a bit of a mess but the a/c started to work. In the night it became too cold and didn't respond when we tried to adjust the temperature setting which meant we did not see well. Wi fi was re booted and worked. Found lump in mattress - didn't bother to get that sorted! Water was hotter in the morning. Breakfast was lovely, usual south indian dishes, cereal, toast, fruits with omlette/dhosa made on request. Breakfast service was excellent. I do believe that had we arrived earlier or stayed another day all the issues we had with our room would be rectified. Reception desk displays cost of taxi to key locations which is very useful.
Excellent hotel in Madurai
TravelExploreNatureon 04/07/2017 16:37Hotel is located nearly one kilo meter away from the Meenakshi amman temple. Its a well maintained hotel with excellent staff. The food from the restaurant was good. We took the base category room that was spacious neat and tidy, the toilets were neat and clean.
Good hotel, food delicious
rsuresh2helpon 09/06/2017 16:37Rooms are worth for money, excellent ambience, rooms were neat with centralized A.C. FOOD was awesome, had many varities, few drawbacks reception response is poor, they didnt pick many times especially after 11pm, atlast when they picked i askd for wifi password, which they said will back in 10mins but no response, staff hospitality has to improve a lot.
Not worth the money
on 06/06/2017 05:51We stayed at Moskva for a night on our way back from Rameshwaram and overall the experience was disappointing.
Pros:
✓Decent breakfast
✓Nice ambience and features available in rooms
✓Hardly 5-6 mins from meenakshi temple
Cons:
×Service - Room was not properly cleaned when we checked in and we had to request the room service to clean it since they insisted that they already have done that
×Amenities - Right from room freshener to towels, teabags, toiletries and even remote control batteries were missing and had to be requested. Most of these items never arrived. Even the wifi password had to be requested and we were informed that its limited to one login only for each room!!
I would request hotel admin to focus more on basic services and amenities rather than trying to implicate high tech gadgets which are useless unless backed by service support. Won't recommend this hotel to others for the price that's being charged.
