Good Place to Stay For Budget
madeadityavon 12/05/2017 15:05it was a quick stay there as I had to go to Kyoto. I stayed in capsule styled dorm and the bed is comfortable, but you have to pay for television - it wasn't really necessary for me though since overall I had this hotel as a place to bath and sleep. they provide indoor onsen (bathroom) and sauna, and the staff is not very good in English but trying to be very helpful. takes only 5 minutes walk to Asakusa Temple and I think shopping district is also nearby; also 5 minutes to 24/7 McD and 24/7 DonKi stores where you can find almost everything (foods, clothes, medicines, cosmetics, games, electronics, etc.) there which is very convenient!
Decent Hotel, Good for Travellers on a Budget
Luis Lon 22/04/2016 15:23Hotel was small (but which hotel is not in Tokyo). As a student, was glad to find simple amenities and appliances like hot-pots for use in the 2-person room that was booked.
Good for budget travellera but do not expect much like beds (futon provided) and limited choice of room. Would choose again if I were travelling or backpacking.
Clean and Good Location
janelevenmyon 03/03/2016 03:07I stayed here on my 2nd day in Tokyo because I planned to explore Asakusa area. My room is a Japanese style single room without bathroom but no worries, there are shared toilet and shower. The hotel not that big but I quite satisfied because it's clean.
I arrived early and the check in time at 4pm but that's fine because I can drop my luggage for free and the rest of time I can use for sightseeing around Asakusa, the hotel just beside the Sensoji Temple.
Well, my journey to here not really easy just because I took the wrong road after get off the train. I walk more than 1 hour to find the hotel. At last I asked the police to show me the way. Look at the map, I already lost too far from the exact location but I finally arrived at the hotel after another 30mins walk hahaha. Adventures you see!

Stephengollanon 19/08/2015 13:55Deep in a back alley in asakusa exists the one last true backpacking capsule hotel in tokyo, it's name the new tochigiya !, It comes with all the essentials of a true capsule hotel would have had back in the day including semi rude old front desk guy who's only English word is no and open room men's sauna filled with naked showering people oh and don't get me started on the capsule! No luxury here just a foam insert and a armada of confusing buttons. This truly is one of the funnest backpacking dives out there, so if your looking for the experience and not luxury and a room for 20 dollars then head on down here.
