Great place to stay and eat
kingkaufon 17/08/2017 11:04We arrived in a thunderstorm and because our room was not ready, which was mildly irritating we had tea in "the lounge".
This is a lovely place to stay and eat. We had an epic menu degustation beautifully cooked with good service.
Our room was lovely.
Highly recommended
The conifers obstruct the view of the lake which is a pity

JdA1976on 23/07/2017 14:50A little bit old but otherwise a nice cute hotel. We had a wonderful room overlooking the lake. The restaurant has 2 Michelin stars which means the menu is special. Not for every day but quite good for one day.

Graeme bon 12/06/2017 06:42Great staff, great welcome, great rooms - well furnished air conditioned and comfortable, beautiful views and a big swimming pool for a relaxed stay. The associated 2 star Michelin restaurant, le bateau Ivre, is icing on the cake
Beautiful hotel
Ian Lon 04/04/2017 07:28Fantastic hotel, beautiful location, fabulous food, attentive and friendly staff BUT there are no facilities fior a wheelchair bound guest.
The staff their upmost to accommodate us and we are grateful to them for making our short stay enjoyable but the hotel management need to invest by installing disabled facilities in at least one bedroom and the restaurant area.
Great base for cycling Lac Bourget
Spencer Kon 28/11/2016 02:39My wife and I spent three lovely nights at the Hotel Ombremont with a room overlooking the lake during a cycling vacation in the Savoie region. It's a great point of access for the lovely small roads around Lac Bourget with superb 4-star faciliies, a welcoming staff, excellent food, and easy access to the more informal restaurants along the lake shore. Highly recommended.
